La Majelletta, - like each of our exclusive villas, named after a mountain in the nearby Majella National Park is one of only three exquisite villas designed solely for couples. Tucked away in a peaceful corner of rural Abruzzo, it offers uninterrupted views across rolling hills, olive groves, and distant mountains - an ever-changing panorama that captures the soul of this extraordinary region.
Here, in the heart of one of Italy’s best-kept secrets, you’ll find a rare harmony of comfort, nature, and authentic charm. Spend your days basking beside the pool under the Abruzzo sun, strolling through ancient hilltop villages, or exploring wild national parks where wolves and golden eagles still roam. The beautiful Adriatic coastline - with its hidden coves, trabocchi fishing huts, and sandy beaches - is less than half an hour away. And everywhere, the rich culture, welcoming people, and celebrated food and wine of Abruzzo surround you.
La Majelletta has been beautifully converted from a 19th-century stone barn, offering a balance of elegance and modern comfort. Each of the three villas shares the same thoughtful design and luxurious amenities - no one villa is superior, and all provide complete privacy with separate entrances and self-contained facilities.
Inside, your villa is airy, serene, and filled with light. A king-size bed promises restful sleep, while the bathroom features a fully tiled walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need - fridge-freezer, four-burner hob, oven, and a full range of stylish cookware and tableware - whether you're preparing a relaxed breakfast or an elegant evening meal.
For your comfort there is air conditioning, central heating, smart TV, and Wi-Fi in the villa and at the pool area, included as standard.

Our little apartment nestled high on the mountain hillside was just perfect. Such a stunning view of the countryside. Our family and friends live in Pennadomo a mountain town just 25 minutes away so this was a good location with plenty of conveniences not far away. The big plus was our hosts, Lynda and Rob. So very accommodating. We were your typical uninformed tourist (didn't want to say dumb). They bent over backwards for us. Helped us so much. Villasfor2 is out-of-the-way but very accessible to everything we needed. I highly recommend it.

La Majelleta is quite simply heaven on earth! From the moment you arrive and receive a lovely warm welcome from Robert and Lynda you know you’ve picked somewhere unique. When you walk in the door of your gorgeous, well equipped villa you can see the thought that has gone in to everything that makes a good holiday a great holiday. There are so many little thoughtful and generous touches in this villa - you will want for nothing as these lovely hosts have thought of everything. We feel lucky to have found this lovely place and will certainly return. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

I've been a traveller all my life, have visited tons of places on the globe and lived for years in North America. I am a regular traveler and would rate Rob & Lyn's Vilas as one of the nicest, best and real value of all the places I have stayed in my life.
I travelled with my partner and we were looking for a silent retreat so we could relax, recharge our batteries and enjoy the Italian cuisine. With their wonderful Villas located in the Abruzzo Mountains at a mountainside you have a wonderful view over the valley. The Pool is getting cleaned every morning by Rob or Lyn to provide a clean pool when you wake up on hot days to directly jump into. Never seen a pool in better shape!!!
The place was very clean, well equipped, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was exactly the retreat from all the daily city life we needed. Rob even provided a gas bbq and whenever we had any questions or wishes, both did everything they can to fulfill those wishes as best as possible.
The nearby city Casoli which is only 10 car minutes away has 2 supermarkets which was handy, and from there it's only a few minutes to dozens of restaurants and cafes. The winery Tilli's is right around the corner as well as a cheese-factory and pasta-factory where you can get the freshest ingredient to make your stay as Italian as possible.
While staying we got the offer to participate at a local fest, where we enjoyed wine, beer, food and the very local atmosphere in the middle of the Abruzzo Mountains. Lovely!
This little gem is like a resort for your soul. No kids and no pets are allowed and in the 3 Villas and only 2 people can stay per Villa. So if you travel as a couple, the only people you encounter (besides Rob & Lyn) are maximum 4 other guests.
The place is best accessed by car. So it would be wise to rent or travel by car. There are no buses and/or taxis available. Which is a huge plus in our opinion. No nasty tourists ;).
Rob & Lyn answer their phones instantly or reply via messengers within minutes. They do not leave any wishes or needs open to you and other hosts can take an example from this.
We would highly recommend this wonderful Villas to everyone who is looking to calm down, have wonderful Italian food and recharge their batteries.
It was an enormous pleasure to stay with you and we will come back, even if it's just for a week. It's 110% worth it!
