About this apartment rental
Enjoy this charming 1br/1ba (sleeps 2-4+) English Basement apartment with private entrance in a historic 1890 Townhouse within walking distance of Dupont Circle, Logan Circle and the U Street Corridor. This tastefully furnished apartment has one bedroom with a king size Tempurpedic bed, a queen size sleeper sofa, plus several inflatable beds of various sizes. It's the perfect location for a business trip or a visit to DC's many incredible sites. And I don't charge a cleaning fee! I’ve lived in the main house above the apartment for over 20 years, so I’m happy to answer questions about the area and offer suggestions for your stay.
The apartment is a stone's throw from dozens of restaurants (6 with Michelin stars!), shops, clubs and within easy walking distance of two Metro lines. There's no off-street parking for the unit, but free temporary residential parking can be arranged for visitors to take advantage of the plentiful street parking in the neighborhood.

I would give this stay a 12 out of 10 The apartment was clean, spacious and the host provided a welcoming atmosphere. Frank was very easy to communicate with and quickly responded to any texts. The apartment was easy to locate, marked well with easy secure entry. The kitchen boasts a full stove refrigerator microwave and dishwasher Spotless. There was a washer and dryer if needed ( we didn’t) but it was nice to know it was available. Parking on the street was easily available We were there for 3 nights (with record heat) and found it a relaxing retreat after seeing the monuments We highly recommend

We had a great stay! The beds were very comfortable and the location was walkable to a grocery store and restaurants. The kitchen was stocked with appliances, utensils, and pots and pans so we could cook meals for our family. The host was easy to reach and very communicative. Highly recommend!

Wonderful private space in a great location. The ground floor apartment (English Basement) has a great bed, updated bathroom, kitchen, and living area to serve as a home base during your stay in DC. Everything we needed was available. Communication was great and we plan to stay again.
