LOCATED IN THE BEAUTIFUL WHITEFACE CLUB AND RESORT , LAKE PLACID NY

Our rustic, Brookside cabin with its old-world charm, consists of 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom with wonderful Adirondack décor and king size bed is adjacent to a huge master bathroom , cathedral ceilings , sunken tub overlooking the brook , free standing shower , antique trimmings . Also adjacent to master bedroom is a charming library with views of colorful flowers in spring/summer and Christmas trees in winter . A pull out couch that sleeps 2 . The second bedroom consists of 2 queen size beds. Adjacent to this is another bathroom completely renovated with high ceilings, large shower and antique trimmings. Complete kitchen with vaulted pine ceilings,*Just renovated ..sub zero refrigeration under counter.. quartz counter top ..state of the art appliances with beautiful views of the brook ** The third bathroom sits adjacent to the kitchen with full bath amenities. The washer and dryer is also adjacent to the kitchen wrap around large windows with virws of the brook .Dining room offers a full view of the brook through wall to wall windows, cathedral ceilings with pine and bark and a 12 foot long antique table to enjoy your Brookside dinning. The Great Room is a charming, cozy, romantic and relaxing place with a large stone fireplace, velvet couch, Indian blankets and comfortable chairs. Huge deck facing Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid is partially screened in and a cozy place to sit allowing you to enjoy sounds of the babbling brook and scenic views in any weather.
Brookside is located in the Whiteface club resort area . Simply beautiful any time of the year ! Spring/ Summer an abundance of flowers . There are not enough words to explain how wonderful this experience was- but my 11 year old summed it up by day 2 on our stay and said "mom, it feels like home". This is our 3rd stay at Brookside and it won't be our last! Spotless always, lighting in each room is adjustable and lots of them - heat in all rooms adjustable, kitchen has everything you need. Fireplace burns wood and there is plenty of it! Soaking tub in master bath with a view of the brook. TV in both bedrooms. Library with chairs and blankets perfect for reading or napping! Washer dryer too-so we packed a bit lighter this time :) Good memories were made!

This is the most charming, cozy, well equipped home. This was our 3rd time staying at Brookside. We keep coming back because of this. The host is so welcoming and will get right on any detail that may seem off. It's proximity to all the venues one might want to do in Lake Placid is perfect.

We had a great stay at the Brookside Cabin this past weekend. The cabin was beautiful and made for a perfectly wintry getaway, especially with the fireplace keeping that cozy winter vibe. Everything was very clean, and the entire complex was quiet, well maintained, and relaxing. The location was ideal, close to Main Street in Lake Placid. Check in was super smooth and easy. If you’re considering a trip to Lake Placid, I would definitely recommend staying at Brookside Cabin.
