About this house rental
Rustic Lake Placid camp with prime location! You will be a short walking distance to all of the Village's Olympic venues, restaurants, stores, and Mirror Lake. The camp has a minimalist rustic feel with fast Wi-Fi and Netflix for entertainment. There is a front screened porch, large front yard, backyard with grill, and private driveway.
The 4 bedrooms: One Queen bedroom is located downstairs off the bathroom. The Twin bedroom and 2 Queen bedrooms are located upstairs with another Full bathroom.
The kitchen: Fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, and microwave.
Our ideal location is a 2-minute walk to Olympic Arena, Public Olympic Skating Oval and Inline skating Hockey box, Toboggan Chute, Mirror Lake Beach, Play Park, and Tennis Courts! A few minutes jaunt brings you to Mirror Lake’s seasonal activities of paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, ice-skating, X-Country skiing and dog-sled rides. Stroll into the village for shopping, restaurants, bars, Mid’sPark bandshell concert venue, and movie theater. A leisurely walk around MirrorLake is a favorite of locals and tourists. The Apartment is a block away from the bowling alley, arcade, bike, canoe, kayak, guide services, ski rental shops and Lake Placid motor boat and snowmobile rentals.
The Lake Placid Art Center is within walking distance. Year round concerts, plays, and an ever-changing art gallery are located here! Across the street from LPCA are the Peninsula Nature Trails and Lake Placid dam. A 15-minute drive will take you to the Olympic Venues of Whiteface Mt, Ski Jumps, Mt. Van Hoevenberg’s Luge, Bobsled, Biathlon, X-Country skiing, snowshoeing, climbing, and Cliffside Coaster complex. The Whiteface Mountain has Summer & Fall Gondola Rides and Mt. Bike trails.A wide variety of sports and cultural activities are truly at your doorstep!
I also have a larger 6 bedroom property for groups that can accommodate up to 12 guests and a 2 bedroom cottage that can accommodate up to 6 guests. All homes can be booked together if there is availability and are located next to one another.
