The host Alain was great. He was very helpful and kind. We had some issues with our rental car upon arrival, and he even called and gave us a ride out of kindness! The house was everything it was promised to be. I would definitely book here!

We had an amazing stay at this house! The infinity pool and hot tub were absolutely sublime, and we enjoyed playing ping pong and darts after dinner. The abundance of board games and the incredible home theatre were also highlights. The hammocks were perfect for relaxing, and we appreciated the many common spaces, which were great for both work and leisure.
A minor downside is that the best beach in Ste-Anne is a 15-minute drive, which wasn’t ideal for us. Additionally, while I wanted to jog in the area, the small, hilly streets didn’t feel safe to share with cars, as some drivers seemed a bit reckless.
The host was fantastic—super responsive and attentive to our needs. When we requested yoga mats, they kindly accommodated us. We also loved that composting is available on-site!
One thing to note: the mosquitoes are no joke. They’re practically invisible but very persistent. Bug spray and after-bite treatments help but aren’t foolproof—we all got hundreds of bites that were incredibly itchy. A tip: stock up at the local pharmacy! Locals joked that mosquitoes only bite tourists, which hardly feels fair.
Despite the mosquitoes, this villa is truly wonderful, and I highly recommend it!

This property is in excellent condition, very clean and secure. The pictures in this listing say everything you need to know. Alain is an attentive host and very accessible when questions come up. Le Gosier, where the villa is located, is a nice central point on the island - beautiful beaches, good restaurants, bakery and grocery are within 10-15 minutes. We were able to reach the national park and west side of Basse Terre within an hour. One bit of warning: The driveway in/out of the property has steep inclines. If you rent a manual transmission vehicle, make sure you're ready for it!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Alain, our host, was very helpful and promptly answered any queries we had. I would definitely recommend! A car is an absolute necessity as the house isn’t within walking distance of a town but we knew this and it wasn’t an issue for us.
