This property holds a special place in our hearts! Gorgeous, elegant, roomy, with an elevator if access is an issue. Lovely lanai with views of ocean, lava fields and upcountry. Lovely pool to soak the rays and take a plunge! We love the weight room and the safe wide path for early morning jog and work our out! Kerrie is truly the best with communication and accommodating any need that arises.

Aloha - every year we come to our family property near Waikoloa for a few days and every year we rent a vacay property after so we can recharge and wash laundry and just chill. For the last several years, we’ve stayed at Mauna Lani area but this time we picked waikoloa

We have stayed at The Shores 5-6 times and really enjoy what the property and area offer. This particular condo was our favorite - spacious, clean and well-appointed. We had everything we needed for daily living and beach outings. The wrap-around lanai was my favorite feature. The communication with Kerrie at Lava Rock Realty was prompt and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The location of this unit was fantastic! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The tennis courts, pool, and gym at The Shores were great! The unit was spacious and comfortable. Good-sized lanai although it was shady not sunny. Easy to book and responsive to questions.

We had a wonderful month long stay at this condo. The place was spotless and so well equipped, Extra plusses were the Welcome Basket and all the extras eg plenty of paper towel, shampoo/conditioner and body wash and lots of beach equipment.

It’s in the middle of Waikoloa beach area with view of third tee on the Beach course. My only concern was the garbage recycle area was a bit neglected over the holidays always being full and a very dark area at night to walk to. One light sensor at the back of all the bins only came on once you stumbled into everything to set it off?

Everything was perfect, Very clean and well appointed condo, We have never stayed in a condo that had been so well supplied, Except for getting eggs, bread and butter everything was supplied for us to make our breakfast. If you want cool, classic and quiet, this is your place. The grounds are lovely. The pool is not crowded. The hot tub is hot. The leather couches are comfortable. The Internet is fast. The streaming is good. The property manager is extremely responsive. The kitchen as well stocked everything you need for the beach is there Full size bath products, plenty of towels for the bathroom, including beach towels for the beach, and a lovely fruit basket and bottles of water for a welcome a great book to tell you everything you need to know about the place and how to use everything

This condo is absolutely amazing! Beautifully decorated and well appointed. It is close to a beach, shopping and great restaurants. Location is fantastic in the Waikoloa Beach resort on the Kohala coast.

We love this condo! Excellent location and a very attentive and welcoming property manager! This was our second stay at this condo and we will return again. We very much appreciated the fruit and goodie basket presented upon our arrival. Even with minor issues that arose, the property manager was prompt in her actions and resolution. This was hands down the very best property we have ever stayed at. The unit had beautiful furniture and was very spacious and open, with a fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The proximity to so many restaurants and shops was also a huge plus. We just wish we could have stayed here longer, but we decided to island hop (for the sake of our children, who had not been to Hawaii before)- next time we would definitely look to stay on the Big Island for a longer period of time and try to stay at this condo. Kerrie was extremely prompt about communication, even notifying us on the day of our arrival that the previous guest had accidentally broken the shower handle and that a maintenance person had found a temporary fix while awaiting a new shower handle. Would definitely recommend this listing again and again.

This was a great 3 day getaway for my family of 3. We enjoyed the extra amenities (puzzles!) and yummy welcome/fruit basket. Rooms are spacious and private, lanai was a nice escape in the mornings. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and quick breakfast options nearby. Kerrie was very helpful with a few questions I had during my stay and also quickly responsive to an unexpected maintenance issue during our stay. Would very much like to come back and stay longer!

Agree with other positive reviews - this condo is very comfortable, spacious, clean and peaceful. Breakfast on the lanai each morning was the perfect way to start each day. Thank you for the welcome basket! We also made good use of the chaise lounges. We had the pool to ourselves. Our family of 3 (2 adults, 1 teen) had such a great time exploring this side of the Big Island with this as our home base. Thank you!

Overall it was nice, the snorkeling equipment should have been rinsed by the previous users, it was not. Sufficient kitchen supplies. The condo was clean & spacious. I thought it would feel small but it wasn’t at all. Love having breakfast on the patio or Lani. You may see a big or two but we’re in Hawaii and that’s expected! The unit has air conditioning, a washer & dryer and a fairly stocked kitchen with the essentials for everything. A special bonus was the owner provided fresh fruit and some water as a sweet gesture of hospitality that we appreciated. Having breakfast with that sweet delicious pineapple and oranges was great. Super thought of the owner They also provide beach chairs, towels and toys for the kids. The grounds were quiet and very green. It’s located near the Marriott and Hilton. The area has some clothing shops if you want to go shopping. There is a marketplace to go to for food. The island gourmet store was perfect for the later night food cravings. We were on the Big Island for my son’s graduation in Hilo. This location was perfect for the post celebratory activities- the beaches! My favorite being Hapuna Beach. The proximity to it was also very good - about 10 miles. Overall this was a wonderful unit. We’d definitely come back again.
