Harbor Village Update: The indoor pool, hot tub and fitness area are open and included with your stay. The outdoor pool and hot tub are open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Guests are required to review and adhere to the facility rules posted on-site. Importantly, there can be no alcohol or food at the pool facilities.

You’ll fall in love with this exceptionally clean condo in Harbor Village. Tons of fantastic updates!!! New floors, furniture and appliances. This is one of the more affordable units that includes Lake views. Wonderful updates throughout and comfy furniture will make you feel right at home.
AMENITIES INCLUDE: central air, outdoor deck, and gas fireplace. WIFI and Smart TV included.
The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, etc. and a standard drip coffee makers are available for guest use. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies and soaps (not personal soaps), and a starter set of paper products.
LOCATION: Harbor Village is one of Michigan’s finest waterfront resort communities, located in the heart of Manistee at the Lake Michigan shoreline, and is ideal for a waterfront family vacation. Onsite amenities include indoor pool and spa, seasonal outdoor pool and spa, deep-water marina and playground. This 2nd floor condo is located right next door to the pools and less than half a mile from sandy 5th Avenue Lake Michigan Beach and North Pier Lighthouse. It’s about a mile to downtown Manistee.

Check in time is after 4:00PM and check out time is before 10:00AM. Please note that we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures from May – September. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay.
ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests.
DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely.
Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy.
For safety reasons, there may be external security cameras in use. Please contact us if there are any questions or concerns.

Clean cozy place. Beautiful location right next to the beach as well as pool for use. Had trouble with the WiFi upon first arriving and the manager on call responded to us right away. Lovely stay!

For a condo that sleeps 3-4, there was not enough dining chairs. The paper products were low end. Dirty floors. The main level bedroom had two mattresses instead of a box spring and a mattress. The kitchen is not fully stocked. Cooking utensils and pans are very limited and no salt/pepper or seasoning.Chairs on the balcony would be an added benefit. Not much use for a balcony without chairs. These are small things but did add up.This condo is in a great location and we would consider staying there again.

Wonderful stay at Harbor Village. Great unit with lake and treehouse type views. It's a close walk to the beach and a few steps from the indoor and outdoor pool. Love staying here!

The Good: Location is excellent, and proximity to the "downtown" area is great. Ample parking available, and the complex is walkable. Nice to be close to the beach, the pool, etc.
The Bad: The amenities are dated, the hot tub was closed and under construction while we were there. The pool locker rooms badly need a renovation. The unit itself is fine, clearly whoever owns it did a cheap flip to get it renter ready. Craftsmanship is severely lacking. The tile in the upstairs bathroom is a safety hazard, incredibly slippery when wet.
The bed in the loft in unbelievably uncomfortable. The ikea mattress isn't cutting it. Woke up with back pains each morning
TV has Netflix and nothing else. You dont even have the option to access any of the main streaming apps because the TV is of such low quality. Remember to bring a firestick or another streaming device is you want to watch anything (would be a great 25 dollar upgrade to the unit)
Unit does not include an iron and the property management was initially unwilling to help and then changed their mind suddenly. At an average cost of 600/night I would expect an iron. Luckily theres another unit at this property they manage which has one where out group was staying. The other unit is much larger and overall a better value IMO. Would consider there in the future.
Check-out process is crazy. You pay for a cleaning fee but have to do 90% of the work. Id stay in this area again but would look for another management company if possible.
