Manistee, Michigan is where relaxation and all-season adventures intersect at Lake Michigan and the Manistee National Forest. Navigate Manistee is a 3-story townhome in the Harbor Village resort-like community with amenities that include a year-round indoor pool and hot tub, seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness room, marina full of nautical eye candy, playground, sand volleyball court, and an outdoor community fire pit. Harbor Village sits along the pure, magical shores of Lake Michigan where you can sun and swim at 5th Avenue Beach, stroll along the North Pierhead, and end your day with a beach bonfire while watching the stunning sunset. Just on the other side of the Manistee River is 1st Street Beach with music and entertainment throughout the summer with the nearby old-school wooden playground, Lighthouse Park!

The 3 floors of this townhome offer our guests the space they need without being on top of each other all week. Upon entry, the main floor open plan layout invites our guests to relax in the living room with a Smart TV and streaming apps, entertain at the dining table that seats 6 and a peninsula with 3 additional stools, and enjoy a coffee overlooking the marina and outdoor pool which are basically your backyard! The kitchen boasts stainless-steel appliances with filtered refrigerator water and air fryer technology with the oven. There’s a half-bathroom, coat closet, and access to the 1-car garage.

The 2nd floor sleeps 6 beginning with a spacious landing that houses a twin daybed with a trundle bed and lounge chair. Sliding glass doors lead out to an open-air balcony with four chairs so you can end the evening star gazing. The Primary Bedroom has a queen bed, double closet, dresser, nightstands, picture windows with room darkening shades, and a ceiling fan. The second bedroom has two twin beds, a dresser, a walk-in closet, room-darkening shades, and a ceiling fan. A full bathroom with a tub and removable shower head is also on this floor.

The Lower Level features a family room (AKA bedroom) with a queen sofa sleeper, a Smart TV with Roku, picture windows, ceiling fan, books, an electric mini-fireplace, and a door for privacy. The lower-level walks out onto a ground level patio with a bistro table and chairs. This back entrance makes for a handy "mudroom" for your wet towels, beach bag, and your winter snow gear. There's a double closet for guests, and an office with a desk, lamp, and small chest of drawers. The Laundry Room via the office boasts a large capacity washer and dryer with a tub sink (detergent included!). A full bathroom with a stand-up shower completes the Lower Level. There are hair dryers in both full bathrooms. For those who still need to be connected or are working remotely, the Wi-Fi has 300 Mbps download speeds for streaming and/or video calls. A pack and play and booster chair are also available to guests.

The best part of your home-away is the easy 10-minute walk to the beach through the marina along the sidewalks, where our wagons and cooler on wheels will simplify getting there. We have spare beach chairs and sand toys to help ease up on packing. It's also a breezy 15-minute walk or short bike ride to the Manistee Riverwalk and the downtown eateries and shops (bikes not included).

For the adventure enthusiasts, there are plenty of nearby activities like hiking, biking, camping, skiing at two resorts, kayaking, fishing, kitesurfing, or whatever your experience calls for in the adjacent Manistee National Forest and nearby parks. Experience nearby tranquil, pleasure hikes at Orchard Beach State Park or Magoon Creek, or plan longer hikes or biking within 20-minutes from the many 'choose your own adventure' trails that the Manistee National Forest parks offer. Take advantage of "cheater" camping at Nordhouse Dunes, go on a kayaking or tubing adventure on the Manistee River, or use Fall as the excuse to drive up M-22 for the most vivid, picturesque Fall color tour, visiting the darling seaside towns along the way. Don’t forget to take in the view atop Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore or Arcadia Dunes. For the winter getaway, ski at Crystal Mountain or Caberfae Peaks, take a sleigh ride, swim in the indoor pool/hot tub, and then cozy- up in front of the toasty fireplace.
