About this apartment rental
This spacious one bedroom unit is the middle floor of our duplex house, it comes with a well equipped kitchen and the absolute best views in all of Pacifica. You can see all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge on clear days, and when it’s foggy it feels like you are sitting in the clouds. There is a huge deck and we are fortunate to have birdsong all around. We overlook Pacifica Beach where there are surfers out every day of the year, often before the sun rises. There are whales to be seen out in the water, as well.
Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway, or just a home base for your adventures in San Francisco, our place will be perfect. In order to get up to our stunning views, there are quite a few steps that must be walked up, so we don’t recommend our place to anyone with mobility issues. We do have an electric tram that will carry your luggage and groceries up, so you won’t need to carry anything up more than a small amount of steps.

The view from this place was absolutely stunning—overlooking Pacifica State Beach and the ocean. There are about 110 steps up to the entry door, but don’t worry—there’s a tram available to take you and your luggage or groceries to the top.The space was roomy and fully functional. While it’s a bit dated and could use some maintenance, we booked it for the view and location, and it definitely delivered. I also want to mention that if someone is staying in the unit above, you may hear some noise—but I only note this to be fair in case that’s important to others.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly book here again when visiting the San Francisco/Pacifica area.

Pros:
-The location is really cool.
-Responsive property management.
-Fast wifi
-Free parking
Cons:
-The carpets were really dirty
-The bathroom door and bedroom door wouldn't stay closed.
-The bathroom was held together with tape in some spots, the corner of the wall was also torn up really bad next to the shower.
-There were no bulbs in the lighting fixtures on the deck. The property faces north/northeast, so it gets shady early in the evening.
-If anyone rents the penthouse above this property, you'll hear ever that goes on up there. Everything.
All together, it was an OK experience outside of the couple of days that I had some loud neighbors. If you're planning on going out and about and need somewhere to spend downtime and sleep, this is an alright option.
