About this cabin rental
Elk Meadow Lodge is a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin with great views and just the right size for a cozy getaway or a family retreat.
All RATES QUOTED are for the 2 BEDROOM option.
The cabin can also be rented as a 3 Bedroom. (An additional King bed)

The cabin will sleep 6 if you choose the 3 BEDROOM option.
The cabin has 2 King Size Bedroom Suites. One on main floor and and one on second floor. There is also a loft with a Sofa and an additional TV. Both with full baths so the cabin will accommodate 4 people. Enjoy the loft for some relaxing time with a book or turn on your favorite game on the 50" wall mounted flat screen TV. Sneak to the one of the decks to rock your cares away and maybe catch an Elk grazing in the field. Bring your sweetheart or family for a tiny glimpse of paradise....Ahhh the view......
Picturesque setting with unobstructed year round wide open mountain views of the famous WATERROCK KNOB. The cabin has approximately 1808 sq feet of living area, plus it has a large wrap around deck in the front, back, and side. The cabin has rustic charm with an amazing views of Waterrock Knob from all windows. Custom stone fireplace turns on at the touch of a button, large loft and family room, and kitchen with granite counter tops. Relax on the wrap around porch and watch the lightning bugs and the Elk graze in the meadow with the mountains as a backdrop, simply beautiful. Both bedrooms have plush king beds.
Please be aware that there is new construction nearby. While the lodge itself remains a serene and tranquil haven, guests may occasionally hear the sounds of construction. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as the area continues to develop.

Everything about the cabin was absolutely amazing! Well appointed, super comfortable beds and the VIEW can’t be beat. Loved seeing elk every day either in the neighborhood or in the close fields. Sitting on the porch and taking it all in was our favorite part of the trip.

This was our fourth stay with Willow Tree Cabins and each cabin has had the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Quiet and serene area with beautiful views and the perfect location near local shopping, restaurants, walking trails and waterfalls. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend any of their cabins. Five star cabins and a five star host!

This property was conveniently located right behind Joey's Pancake House. Nice, flat land so you don't have to worry about going up into the mountain. Stocked with pretty much everything you need for your stay and very clean!

I honestly thought some of the photos on the website might have been AI-enhanced, especially the elk in the yard and the dramatic skies over the mountains, but figured it would be beautiful either way. Somehow, it was even more beautiful than the pictures!
The elk truly do visit daily. One day they even knocked over our stacked firewood at the fire pit and then casually napped in the yard about 50 feet from the cabin. It felt absolutely magical. The property is also amazing for bird watching, which made mornings especially peaceful. On one side, you can watch the sunrise over the mountains, and on the other, you can enjoy the sunset — all from your porch!
The cabin itself felt like a true home away from home — cozy, thoughtfully put together and decorated, and very clean. The location couldn’t have been better; it’s right in the middle of everything you’d want to do, including Cataloochee Ranch, Cataloochee Ski Area, Waynesville Main Street, and multiple family-friendly restaurants like our new found favorite, BearWaters Bistro Creekside. The longest drive was only about 30–45 minutes to Great Smoky Mountains National Park for hiking and waterfalls.
The owner was communicative, accommodating, and genuinely personable, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
We will absolutely stay here again!
