Welcome to The Charles! The brother house to 'The Carol'.
A whole 4-bedroom house for about the price of one downtown hotel room, with a full kitchen, room for 10, and pets welcome.
Situated in the heart of the Yorkville section of Pottsville, PA, this townhome was fully remodeled into the perfect mix of original character and modern efficiency. Guests will immediately feel a sense of warmth and coziness entering the rental. The Charles is a few blocks from downtown Pottsville.
***Need more space? Rent both 'The Charles' and 'The Carol' at the same time: 20 guests between the two houses, right next door to each other.
The first floor includes a spacious living room with modern and classic furniture (the coziest leather couch ever!) and a Smart TV, a dining room that can comfortably host dinner for 10 people, and a brand new fully equipped kitchen with gorgeous black marble countertops, stainless steel GE (Café) appliances, and a deep, modern sink. Finishing off the first floor is the brand new back deck including new patio furniture and lights.
The second floor includes the first full bathroom equipped with a tub and shower glass unit. Next to the bathroom is a laundry room (washer and dryer) available at no charge on stays of 7 nights or more. The second bedroom has a full-sized bed and a Smart TV. The master suite with a king-size bed and a Smart TV is also on the second floor, and this includes a very large bathroom with double sinks and a 4-foot tile and glass shower.
The third floor includes the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. The first bedroom on the third floor has a full-size bed with storage, and the second bedroom includes 2 full-size beds and a writing desk as a designated work space. This home is 1,750 sq feet.
PARKING: There is a brand new off street parking area (large enough for 1-2 cars) right next to the house. Please view exterior photos for parking information. Free street parking is also available!
Guests have access to the 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, and back deck. The laundry room (washer and dryer) is available at no charge for stays of 7 nights or more. There is a basement, but it is for owners' utilities and storage only.

The Charles waa perfect for our group! Clean, well stocked with supplies, convenient to where we needed to be over the holiday. This is our second stay with the Moyers and we will definitely be back!
