Nestled at hill top, Villa Solymar welcomes its guests with fabulous views of the ocean and surrounding jungle!
The villas location provides a sense of privacy; it feels isolated from the rest of the world and offers total privacy, if you wants, you can sun, swim, and even shower outside enjoying the liberation of wearing nothing but a smile!!! The tranquility and expansive views make you think you are away from the rest of the world….. yet it is only a three minute drive to the main road. Overlooking the famous “ Whales” reef, it is conveniently located just minutes by car from restaurants, shops and several other famous beaches as Playa Bonita, Playa Las Ballenas and Playa Punta Poppy. Villa Solymar not only offers to its guests privacy and a secluded place but also the many outdoor activities available.
The liberating 180-degree vista provides fantastic views of the ocean ,sunsets, stars and exotic local flora and fauna, house is visited from many hummingbirds and hundreds of beautiful butterfly. A five minutes drive provides access to the typical village of Las Terrenas with local restaurants, supermarkets , banks and bars. Dining in the area is diverse and eclectic and our staff will provide any and all assistance in finding the best locations.

As soon you pass the remote controlled gate of the main entrance, you 'll find yourself surrounded by luxurious vegetation and an impressive 2 minutes drive will take you up to the top of the hill where Villas Solymar is located.
The interior of the villa, with slate floors, dark wood stair and doors, coupled with natural hues and colors, afford a calm and grounded sense as framed by contemporary surroundings. Hand crafted, custom furnishings and artwork are mix together; the result is a blend of casual elegance and comfortable luxury. The configuration of the villa provides privacy and comfort for all of its guests. All 3 bedrooms enjoy a wonderful ocean or mountain view and are all located on the upper floor. On lower floor there is a large contemporary living room, a dining table for 6 persons and a huge and modern state of the art kitchen with one of the most impressive view! A huge terrace and an infinity pool complete this floor.
Through the use of windows and glasses, Villa Solymar embues an open and airy sense that afford continuous breezes through the day and night anyway ceiling fans and air conditioned are available in every bedroom.
Daily housekeeping is always provided for guest comfort and ease. 24 hour emergency services are available in the unlikely event a need should arise.
Other concierge services that can be coordinated includes massages, yoga sessions, bachata and merengue classes and also the services of a chef to prepare special events or special meals.
Secure wireless internet access is provided around the house as the access to Netflix for a romantic movie nights!!

We had a beautiful and relaxing vacation at this beautiful hilltop home. The kids lived in the pool and my husband and I enjoyed reading and looking at the amazing views. Ramon was helpful with anything we needed. We rented a car and it was a short ride to so many beautiful tropical beaches! We also had a wonderful vegetarian meal cooked by Albine the housekeeper!! It was better than all the restaurants we ate at! Hands down recommend having her come and cook for you one night.

The best decision of our trip was staying here. My family and I stayed at this villa for a few days. It is just as gorgeous as the pictures. The views are incredible and stunning! The location is convenient, close to restaurants and 10 mins from the beach. Ramon was super nice and accommodating with all our needs. Albania- she is the best!! So nice and made the best homemade meals for us, super delicious food- we wanted to take her home with us!! She kept the house super clean and has a great friendly personality. We took advantage of the concierge services and scheduled two Swedish massages and two pedicures at the house. Both were reasonably priced and I received the best massage of my life! The pool is not too deep- perfect for a family with kids, Ramon cleaned it daily and we enjoyed swimming in it daily. Sandra is amazing! The best host with easy and constant communication. We paid very little for electricity- we kept the AC off during the day and used it at night. The breeze was perfect during the day. We wish we could live here- it’s paradise! We will definitely come back.

Our time in Villa Solymar was wonderful! It is a clean, comfortable and peaceful place. Waking up to the spectacular view was heavenly! And, the sunsets are beautiful too.
It is well taken care by a super friendly professional staff.
Albania made sure everything was clean and tidy. The bonus is that she is an amazing cook!
Ramon was very helpful and was always available to answer questions or make suggestions.
They made our stay extra special!
