About this house rental
Escape to a private riverfront cabin tucked along the Blue Ridge Mountains in Goshen, Virginia, where outdoor adventure meets luxury comfort.
Enjoy mornings by the river, afternoons exploring Goshen Pass and Jefferson National Forest, and evenings soaking in the hot tub under the stars. This is a cabin on 2 acres in the middle of the Blue Ridge. You'll have private access to the river for floating, kayaking, fishing, or relaxing listening to the water. 25 mins away from Lexington with many shops & restaurants. 30 mins from Homestead & Hot Springs. Close to the Natural Bridge, Jefferson National Forest, & many hiking trails. Many breweries, wineries, & distilleries with in 30 mins. If you're a outdoor lover, like shopping, great food & beverage, this cabin's locations has it all.
I do have a handy man and a local house cleaner if needed.
This cabin is off a 2 lane road, so there is some road noise. It is not a very busy road, so it really isn't bad. Also there is a lumber yard through the woods. Look at photos to see. You can sometimes hear back up beepers from the equipment. Will also get some smells associated from the lumber yard, but not very often. The cabin is very peaceful, but just want to be upfront about it.
You will need to drive to local attractions. Parking is private and free.

Wonderful place to stay. Directions were clear, host is responsive. Beds are very comfortable! Kitchen is well stocked! Had such a good time using the hot tub and fire pit.

Communication with the owner was always prompt and friendly. All beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. It was hard to fit all 7 of us in the living room comfortably but we made it work. The only thing that would have made our stay more perfect was not having to take our trash to the dump. However, it was only a few minutes away so it wasn’t too terrible. We would stay here again!
