It was magical, whimsical, unique, and romantic. I hiked the grounds. We fished the pond. I used the hot tub. The cabin is just too cute and too cool.

What a fantastic, relaxing experience! This property ticked all of our boxes: private, quiet & peaceful, maintained trails, & a hot tub. Thank you for all the fireflies! We had a wonderful time. The house was so cool & spacious. We loved the dome & the window above the bed where we could watch the stars. Our rating of 3s were because the house was not as clean as we expected. For example, there were mouse droppings in several places in the kitchen & hair in the shower drain. The downstairs toilet developed a leak around the base. We called & left a message. There was a text replying that we would receive a call the next day. We did not. Due to the age of the house, it could use a few repairs like door locks, toilets, flickering lights, etc. However, even with those areas of improvement, we could not have enjoyed ourselves more.

Very unique and peaceful home. One for the bucket list. The house sits atop a huge hill and is quite remote, so more ideal for an active family. The pond was plentiful and my son really enjoyed the catch/release fishing. The beds were comfy though make sure you bring a sleep mask since there is no way to cover the windows. The house was well stocked with kitchen items, games, tv etc. Don't let all the scary talk about the internet dissuade you. We had excellent service there (Verizon). Also, Waze was a reliable app to navigate to the property. We took day trips into Grayson Highland State park and there are several beautiful golf courses close enough by that my sons and husband also enjoyed. The house would benefit from an outdoor hose. Since we brought our dogs and they don't always understand how to stay out of any mud, it would have been helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
