Sherpa 8 is a 3-bedroom, 2 and ½ bath condo unit located in a five-story, ten-unit complex just a short distance from the resort village.
The living room in this 1,700 square foot property features a new sofa sleeper, electric fireplace, and 50" flat screen TV with DVD player. This unit is decorated with log and leather furniture, and Montana art and accessories. There is a covered deck off the living area.
The well-equipped kitchen includes full-size appliances and is open to the main living area. The dining table seats six with additional seating for four at the bar. A half bath finishes out the main level.
The first bedroom is a loft room opening to the living area below with a queen bed and a 32" flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a split-king, which can be converted into twin beds for additional bedding, and a 32" flat screen TV. The third bedroom contains another split king, a set of bunk beds, and a 32" flat screen TV. The second and third bathrooms are full baths upstairs between the bedrooms.
Air Conditioning has been added for your summer comfort.
New queen sleeper sofa and mattress installed in February 2020.
There's a shared gas BBQ grill located outside between the Sherpa and Anapurna buildings.
Each condo has use of a designated ski locker and indoor garage parking for one car per condo. Additionally, all condos offer mountain views with walk-in/walk-out access or a shuttle stop just across the road.
Guests of Sherpa 8 enjoy exclusive access to our Sherpa Complex outdoor hot tub, a special amenity shared by only select Whitefish Mountain Resort properties.
There is no elevator in the building, so please note that all Sherpa properties do require some amount of stair climbing, with the upper-most units requiring guests to walk up several flights.

Stayed for the weekend during the under the big sky music festival and it worked out great location wide with the shuttle to/from the concert venue

The overall impression I can give is the picture on the site makes it look way larger than it is. With a place advertising it sleeps 10 I expect larger common areas, like living room and kitchen. Sleeping arrangements were fine, bathrooms fine but outdated. We spent Christmas there and only live 45 minutes so we had gifts, food etc to pack. Top floor means 47 stairs from the parking garage. I'm 61 and and in decent shape and health and managed but would not stay here again because of it.
