Newly renovated cabin in 2025! Sleeps 10 comfortably with a king size bed in the primary bedroom, bunk room with a F/Q + T/T, and open loft with a queen bed and twin bed. Brand new, fully-equipped kitchen with sleek black leather granite tiled backsplash, and stainless steel appliances. Living room features oversized sectional and TV over wood burning fireplace.
The Space:
Thoughtful amenities throughout! Private deck with gas grill, firepit, and plenty of seating. Remote workstation with dual monitors and docking station. Mini-split for air-conditioning and full sized washer/dryer for laundry (rare at Ptarmigan!) Also, one of the closest cabins on the property to the indoor pool and outdoor hot tub.
Main Level: Kitchen, living room, bathroom, and deck.
Lower Level: Spiral stairs down to primary bedroom, bunk bed room and bathroom
Open Loft: Spiral stairs up to Queen bed and remote workstation

Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana. This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America. This skier’s paradise, which boasts legendary runs like Hell Roaring Basin, Home Again, Tree Trails, and Ptarmigan Bowl which have long been known for steep terrain and abundant snowfall and was once widely considered a playground for only the hardest charging skiers and dedicated adventurers. However, in recent decades it has been transformed. With expanded intermediate and beginner terrain and multiple new lifts, and runs the Whitefish Mountain Resort has evolved to meet the needs of skiers of all abilities with over 98 trails. In addition to all the runs National Ski magazine rated Whitefish Mountain Resort as the #3 place to in the entire country! When the snow melts Whitefish Mountain becomes a summer playground home to zip lines, alpine slides, hiking, biking and so much more. The greater Whitefish area has some of the best golfing, water sports, fishing, whitewater rafting, festivals and is the gateway to Glacier National Park.
Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.
Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!

You will have full access to the indoor pool and huge hot tub. In summer, you can go to Whitefish Lake via our private lot or enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and kids playground.
The Neighborhood:
WELCOME TO PTARMIGAN VILLAGE. WE ARE A PRIVATE COMMUNITY LOCATED ON 52 FORESTED ACRES OF LAND ON BIG MOUNTAIN The condo is part of Ptarmigan Village and it is located between downtown Whitefish and the ski, bike and hiking trails of the Whitefish Mountain resort. The village has access to an heated indoor salt water pool, wet sauna, outdoor hot tub and a seasonal outdoor pool. There is a tennis court, pickleball net set up, playground for the kiddos to enjoy along with private access to the Whitefish Beach area, which all is part of the Ptarmigan Village amenities.
Other Things to Note:
The springtime and fall are great times to visit if you want to get away for some quiet time. It is beautiful all year.

If there is an emergency please call the front office. There is also a after hours call center.

We had a wonderful time. Pool and hot tub were very clean and updated. The shower downstairs in our unit did not work but the bath did so we made do. The beds were very hard but otherwise everything was everything we needed and could ask for!
