Located just 4 miles south of San Pedro Town, Casa Amarillo lets you enjoy the best of both worlds—close enough for dining and nightlife, yet peaceful enough for a true island getaway.

How do we get to Ambergris Caye?
o Take a quick flight or ferry from Belize City. We recommend flying—it’s faster and more comfortable!
How do we get to Casa Amarillo?
o We arrange airport transfers (starting at $67.50 per van, for 1-5 guests with luggage). Cost added to your incidental bill.
Getting Around:
Taxis are available, but most guests prefer a golf cart rental. (Valid driver’s license required, reservations necessary.)
House Features:
Is the house air-conditioned?
o Yes! All bedrooms have A/C.
Is WiFi included?
o Yes! But island internet may not be as fast as you’re used to.
Does the house have laundry?
o Yes! Washer & dryer with starter detergent.
Is there a safe?
o Yes! Each level has a personal safe.
Is there a TV?
o Yes! Over 100 channels including ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, HBO, ESPN.
Can we swim off the beach?
o The Caribbean waters here have seagrass (an important part of the ecosystem), but our dock has stairs for easy water access.
What about seaweed?
o Sargassum seaweed may wash up at times - we clean the beach regularly, but it's a natural occurrence.
Is there a pool?
o Yes! A small private pool with ocean views.

Communication with the property manager, Ester, made planning our trip so much easier. The house is great, private pool & dock fantastic. We cooked breakfast at the house & the kitchen was well equipped. Great place - a bit off the beaten path but we loved the quiet & being ocean front.

Ester and crew were amazing! Accommodating and ready to help! Knowledgable re: rentals, excursions and hot spots! And Antoine our groundskeeper holds a special place in our hearts!

Great experience all the way around! Ester was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Anton kept the grounds and pool immaculate throughout our stay, despite the winds and pesky leaves. The home had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. San Pedro is a beautiful place and the Belizean people are very friendly. The food is incredible! Tuff E Nuff tours put us on the fish with a great boat, guide (“Pepper”), and fishing gear. Happy Island was the place to be at Secret Beach. Restaurants like Maxie’s, Elvi’s Kitchen, The Hula Bar, Black Orchid, and Lone Star Tavern are excellent choices for lunch and dinner. YOLO snorkel tours was awesome! Needless to say, we will be going back!
