Folly View is a first floor apartment that sleeps 4 guests in two bedrooms. Located in Island Harbour Marina on the banks of the River Medina, in the hamlet of Binfield, halfway between the County Town of Newport and Cowes.
This modern riverside accommodation benefits from two balconies with views towards moored yachts and across a green to the Medina beyond. The accommodation is arranged with an open plan living, dining, and kitchen area, with a front balcony off it. There is a twin bedroom with small singles and a door to the rear Juliet-style standing balcony, as well as a double room with doors opening onto the same balcony. The bathroom off the hall benefits from a walk-in shower enclosure and a midi bath with a hand-held shower attachment.
Island Harbour is a perfect location for walkers, with scenic routes into Whippingham, East Cowes, and Newport right on your doorstep.
There is also a new on-site restaurant, The Cockle, offering a relaxed place to enjoy a meal during your stay, whether for lunch, dinner, or a casual bite.
Newport is the Island's County Town and is just a short 10-minute drive away. With an array of shops, restaurants, and bars, it's a great place to visit. There's a multiplex cinema complex, theatre, nightclub, live music venue, and an arts venue and function room right on the quay, so there's always plenty to entertain you during your stay.
Folly View is in a great central location to enjoy all that the Isle of Wight has to offer, while still being tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet.

The accommodation was lovely. Everything we needed was there.
Lovely setting and nice and peaceful. Only about 10min walk down lane from bus stop. It was a shame The Breeze was not open. Went to The Folly which is a very good restaurant and only took about 20mins to walk back along the river. Someone from The Folly told us. Maybe information walking along river to get to places would be handy to have in the apartment and maybe recommendations on restaurants etc. Tamarind in Newport is a must for curry lovers.

Apartment was nice but you need a knack to flush the toilet. Furniture was not very comfortable leading to a back ache. The outlook from the lounge was very dismal, many of the apartments had never been finished and abandoned because the builders had gone broke. The only restaurant had also closed. Would not stay here again.
