A spacious and comfortable property with a deck overlooking the bay - very relaxing and peaceful. The area is quite remote, but there are useful facilities like a gas station and small convenience shop- it’s probably best to stock up before you arrive. Great places to eat nearby like the Renfrew Pub . We had a fantastic stay - thank you .

River Raven Retreat is a gem. Although it is not a large cottage, it feels spacious because the ceilings are so high, and because it is flooded with light. It is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated and cozy, with a remarkably well-equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, and each bedroom has a very large closet. The bathroom is very well set up. Best of all is the view, which is extraordinary; so breathtaking and special, in fact, that my sister and I had difficulty tearing ourselves away from the balcony to go out and enjoy Port Renfrew. Our dealings with the owners were very good. If you choose to stay here, you will be very glad you did. Most highly recommended!

The apartment has a fantastic outlook and was in a great location. The Renfrew pub was an excellent option but Haliwoods fish and chips is a must do. Fresh Halibut and wild salmon .. amazing .

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage in Port Renfrew. The water views from the cottage are stunning, really peaceful and relaxing. Leah and Rob were very communicative and helpful in their instructions. The place is very clean and well-equipped. Would recommend for any family looking for a getaway into nature to enjoy the serene, beautiful and tranquil landscapes of Vancouver Island. Thank you!

Lovely property! Did not disappoint! A bit of a drive to get there but well worth it. Very clean, all amenities, beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Very peaceful!water

We loved the place and the view was beautiful. We did not have good weather however, so never got to enjoy the deck outside. We do have some issues with a few things at the cabin. The kitchen faucet was totally not secured down to the kitchen counter and would move all over the place. This was very disappointing considering the price we paid to stay here. There is also an issue with the gas burners on the stove. The flames on the front two burners flare up with yellow flames and get black smoke all over the pans and tea kettle. Also we could not lower the blinds in the living room when needed because they were stuck in the open position. Owners seem nice enough when called about the faucet but said it is hard to get workers out that far. It's a shame, but these issues would keep us from renting this place again.

The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed. The only thing that I have to complain about is the cleanliness of the place. I had to pay a cleaning fee, yet the cottage was not very clean in some areas. I spilled some water on the floor and when I mopped it up the cloth came away filthy. Same with the table top, it had sticky rings from a glass on it and was quite dirty.

Comfortable house, beautiful view, and lovely little town. We had a great couple of days, enjoying nearby hikes at Botany Bay and Sombrío Beach and spotting sea lions off the dock by the pub. Spectacular stay!
