Located in the peaceful Yucca Mesa area, Mia Riad offers a secluded "off-grid" feel while remaining just minutes from the desert’s best culture and dining.
◎ Mesa Market (Local Essentials) – 3 minutes
◎ Yucca Valley shopping and restaurants – 5 minutes
◎ Joshua Tree Village & Coffee Shops – 10 minutes
◎ Joshua Tree National Park Entrance – 15 minutes
◎ Pioneertown & Pappy & Harriet’s – 20 minutes
◎ Palm Springs – 45 minutes
Getting Around:
Many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.
Other Things to Note:
◎ POOL AND HOT TUB HEATING:
Your rental includes heating for the in-ground pool in May and September. The hot tub is always free to heat. However, during the cooler months, there are extra charges for pool heating. If you want the pool heated during these months, please let us know before you arrive.
◎ Extra Charges for Pool Heating:
✓ May–Sept: Complimentary
✓ October and April: $200 per night
✓ November, December, March: $300 per night
✓ January and February: $300 per night
✓ Hot tub always included
No jumping, diving, running or rough play near the pool and hot tub area. No glass can be around the pool and hot tub, there are plastic cups in the kitchen to be used outside. Please mind the quiet hours (no loud noises after 10pm). No intoxicated persons may use the pool or hot tub. NO LIFEGUARD WILL BE ON DUTY - YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
◎ EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.
◎ DOGS: Dogs are welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Maximum of 2 Dogs allowed. No other types of animals are authorized.
◎ CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.
◎ There are ring cameras pointed at the exterior of the home to monitor cars for compliance.

The property and home were fantastic, absolutely beautiful! Comfy furniture and gorgeous bathrooms! Great location, few mins from great coffee and food and very close to the entrance to Joshua tree. Prob my fav vacation rental I have ever stayed at!

I needed a little break from LA and this place was perfect. It was quiet and relaxing. I still needed to work and there were no problems with cell service or internet. I will definitely come back.
