DESCRIPTION
Located in the upscale neighborhood of Bird Rock in La Jolla, this home was designed by the owner/architect as a custom-build, with every corner displaying attention to detail.
This luxury vacation rental features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, private gated yards, a bubbling hot tub, and a rooftop lounge with panoramic ocean views. It’s an ideal family retreat.
Inside, an open living room is framed by a wall of windows overlooking the lushly landscaped front yard. Custom leather couches and seating areas create a comfortable space to converse or relax by watching your favorite movie on the large flat screen with full surround sound.
The adjacent dining room offers seating for 8 and the galley kitchen is fully equipped and features custom hardwood cabinetry, stone countertops, and high-end kitchen appliances.
The first of two bedrooms on this level comes with a king-size bed and a convertible leather sofa where you can enjoy the projection screen movie system and glass sliding doors to the backyard.
The second bedroom features a queen-size bed and direct access to a bathroom with a custom glass-enclosed shower.
The Primary Suite is a loft-style room covering the second level of the home, featuring wood-beam ceilings, king-size bed, gas fireplace, sofa seating area and a private patio with an ocean view. This loft space also features Shoji-type screens that open to ocean views or close for more privacy.
Take the spiral staircase to the top level of the home leads to the rooftop deck lounge featuring beautiful views of the ocean and coastal La Jolla and San Diego and is the perfect place to doze in the sun on the oversized lounger then watch the sunset over the ocean!
The backyard features custom lighting to set the mood for each evening’s enjoyment, and features a built-in BBQ and bubbling hot tub.
Additional amenities include WiFi, a koi pond, streaming smart TVs, a full-size washer and dryer, ceiling fans and box fans.

From the entry way, to the main room and each room after that, the house was beautifully appointed. Whether relaxing by the koi pond, enjoying a meal in the backyard, or shaking in the ocean view, it was all fantastic. Everything was thought of by the hosts, nothing went wanting, it was a superb spot to spend time with family.

Wow we were so impressed with this home. The property, design, bedrooms and master suite on the second story was to die for. The attention to detail made it such a fun home to stay in. We will definitely be back!
