Just outside Sedbergh, between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, it's the perfect base to explore the fells, trails, and scenery on your doorstep. Prefer to relax? We booked this house for our Bride to Be's Hen party, there was lots of space for all 20 guests and could have fit more. We loved the communal areas where we could all fit to relax in the living space or eat in the dining room, it was lovely that it fit us all!
The process was nice and easy to book and was updated with everything as it went along which was great!
It was lovely and clean, a beautiful location and everything you need right there!
We were very happy with everything and would definitely return!

I booked this celebration cottage for my best friends hen do for 25 people finding a place to host this many people was proving to be difficult and then I came across Howgills house! It was perfect for what we needed and everyone who attended said how lovely the house was and I would definitely recommend it to other large parties again! Thank you for being a part of my best friends special celebrations!

Thanks again for your hospitality at Howgills House. 18 of us stayed at the property, the house is clean and beautifully decorated. The views from the house and hot tub were stunning. We got shopping delivered to the house from asda, and used a local bakery and pizzeria for food over the weekend. I would definitely book again for large groups.

Fantastic place with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Sheep right on your doorstep, and the hot tubs were fantastic and well-maintained. Really comfy beds and a large kitchen, big enough to cook for the 20 guests we had with us. Thanks so much, we will be back
