About this cottage rental

Lovingly designed and built, with peaked ceilings, gas fireplace, radiant heat floors and wooden windows. Private patio area. Bedroom #1 with queen size bed. Bedroom #2/den has couch that converts to full-size bed. Day bed in living room has twin mattress. Full size appliances, fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer in cottage.

Walking distance to College Avenue shops and restaurants, UC Berkeley and BART. Parking space available, but many people come without a car. Elmwood neighborhood has a library, bank, movie theater, 2 bookstores and many great restaurants and shops. Great location for visiting Berkeley, or as a base for exploring San Francisco and northern California.

This was our favorite Bay Area stay! Near family and very comfortable, airy and clean. No dramas - always a good thing. Near shops, restaurants and cafes- all within walking distance. A quiet retreat yet close to everything we needed.Thank you, Patty for accommodating us.Chris & Nancy

We had a lovely stay at Patty’s immaculate cottage. The neighborhood is beautiful and serene and the cottage itself provided everything we needed. Our host couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly and we had several enjoyable and informative conversations with her.
