Cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath beach cottage in Jacksonville Beach, just 4 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean! This bright and inviting retreat features an open-plan kitchen and living area, a private screened-in porch, and a spa-like bathroom with a walk-in shower and soaking tub. We have a Smart TV in the main living area. The bedrooms do not have TV's. Enjoy modern comforts including high-speed WiFi, and split-system AC. Outside, rinse off sandy feet in the shared outdoor shower or relax on your private patio. With free parking for two cars and easy keypad self check-in, your stay is completely hassle-free. Perfect for families and couples seeking a relaxing beach getaway, with walkable restaurants, shops, and quick access to Mayo Clinic and downtown Jacksonville.
Come experience these GEM's! The GEM is made up of 3 individual units. This is Gem #3, a cozy cottage that is perfect for a family or 2 couples.
Non-Smoking Property: The entire property is no-smoking.
*The screened in patio is private for Gem #3. Some amenities noted are nearby - an additional fee may be required. Golf, Paddleboard Rental, etc.
**Parties are strictly prohibited - as noted in the rental agreement. Penalties will be enforced. The property is monitored by Noise Aware as noted in the booking agreement.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Guest Arrival is anytime 4pm EST or after. If the property is approved for early arrival, you will receive a message letting you know you can arrive early and we will activate the door code. If you do not receive a message, then the arrival will remain at 4pm EST.
Guest Departure is anytime 10am EST or before. If you have not departed by this time and do not have written prior approval for a late departure, you will be assessed a $50 late departure fee for every 30 minute delay. The Cleaning Services we use schedule their teams for multiple cleans in advance and any unplanned delays create issues. With unscheduled/unapproved late departures, they are required to bring in additional team members to assist, which incurs a higher cost that must be charged. Any requests made for a late departure must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance of departure time and are subject to approval/availability.

Me and my father thought the VRBO was in a great location and I really enjoyed riding my bike to the beach every morning to work out. They had a ton of great eating spots that were close and walkable! My father is older so he enjoyed walking to the beach for relaxation and taking in the sights!The property was decorated nicely and I loved the screened in porch! Unfortunately only one ceiling fan worked on the screened in porch and the bathroom fan did not work. My initial door code did not work either which was a little weird since it coincided with the last digits of your phone number which makes a visitor feel more secure since they only know their information!The communication was pretty good with the owner Bart though and he seemed receptive and appreciative about little things brought to his attention.The neighbors in the community were very pleasant and personable , stopping me a lot when riding my bike to speak which I enjoyed! I loved the tub too and enjoyed it every evening to unwind. :-)Tammy PageAtlanta, GA

It was cozy but had a damp moldy smell. The sofa was gritty with sand, and sheets did not smell fresh.
