The Neighborhood:
Our home is located in a peaceful area between Downtown Savannah and Tybee Island. Enjoy the salt air off of the marsh, just outside of the sites and attractions of the city. The marsh water is just in your backyard and Tybee Island and its beaches are a short drive. This location is perfect for those looking to explore all that Savannah has to offer; the upbeat downtown and the tranquil islands.
Getting Around:
A car is definitely not required here but might be nice to have for guests who want to frequent areas a little further away from the home. If you decide to bring a car we offer free parking at the home. Our home is a quick 10 minute drive/ride share app from the heart of downtown Savannah and 15 minutes from Tybee Island beach. Ubers/Lyft and other ride share apps are very reasonable for quick rides to the best parts of Savannah. Our neighborhood is quiet and walkable or great for bikes. There are several restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance of the home.

HOUSE DISCLOSURES
–We try our best to accommodate early check-ins, but we want to ensure the entirety of the spacious estate is clean and prepared for arrival. We can often accommodate early bag drop for your convenience. Please inquire if this is of interest to your group.
–The hot tub is open for year-round use, but does have scheduled maintenance. We will do our best to inform guests of pool and hot tub maintenance anytime this needs to occur and keep it as short as possible to maximize your use and enjoyment.
BUSINESS DISCLAIMERS
–We have a minimum age requirement for booking this rental. Reservation holder must be 21 years or older.
–We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information.
–We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only.
–We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment.
–Pets are not allowed at this property.
–Mailing packages to the premises is not permitted.
–We use Arlo/Hikvision and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo/Hikvision is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.

The home was amazing and just as described. It was the perfect place for my family to gather for a weekend in Savannah. We were able to spend time together with spaces for everyone to enjoy. Our host made sure that every detail was attended to. The beds were comfortable, the linens were wonderful, and every window had dark out curtains. Every sink had a soap dispenser, every shower and bath had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. All the bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for a large group and the drawers were so well organized, we had no trouble finding everything we needed. They are also very good communicators and responded quickly to all questions. I highly recommend this home and Heirloom properties, and I will look for their properties when I am looking in the future.

Our stay was incredibly fun. We would stay at this property again. I do want to help future guests with additional information we wish we would have known. 1) There are no items for use in the kitchen at all--No salt, no spices, nothing. This is not bad, just good information to know when you run to the store. You need to buy one of anything you think you will need during the stay. 2) The gas grill does not work properly. You must run the grill on full blast the entire time you cook or the burners go out. 3) We were not able to use the hot tub as it was not clean we informed the owner, but this was never addressed. 4) The dishwasher did not work. Again this is fine, but there was not a drying mat, no dishwashing soap, for as nice as this home is, it was lacking in some areas.
We have stayed at a number of VRBO properties over the years and this was the most expensive. For the price we paid, the home should have been in tip-top condition, or we should have been advised of the issues present.

Concerned that obvious items were overlooked such as overflowing trash, broken chandelier, kitchen drawers that would not shut, unclean hot tub, drawers in fridge not installed properly, and screen door off kilter.
The property was beautiful. My family had a really good time together. However, having to be interrupted by property maintenance on more than one occasion was not great.
