beautiful sunshine in the large outdoor area, romantic for 2 people

The studio is in a good, quiet location with a view of the sea from the large outside area. The studio has good storage space, the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. We even got used to the climb of 69 steps - good exercise after a meal out! It would be even better if more attention was paid to maintenance. One of the light fittings in the bathroom didn't work, the lights under the kitchen cupboards didn't work either and one of them was hanging down. The cooker hood didn't work and was taped together. There was a poor selection of mugs and glasses. The most concerning feature is that when it rained (which it did several times during our stay) water came in through the roof and down the main light fitting. We collected several centimetres in the pan catching the drips. There was also a small rain leak in the bathroom.

Cecilia the owners daughter was very good, you only had to phone her and she sorted out your requests.

What a fabulous apartment. The outside roof terrace is huge and gets the sun all day long. Comfy bed, lots of piping hot water, full size cooker, hair dryer, iron and board etc etc Don't bring to much as a supermarket is up the road selling nescafe ,shower gel etc etc etc . Everything you need is here, we didn't spend to much time inside as the beach and restaurants are only a short walk away. Lovely view and a nice local neighbourhood. Felt right at home here and don't want to go home :-) It is up 4 flights of stairs though but not a problem for us. Daniela the owner was great with her communication etc , we will definitely be back Playa San Juan is lovely, no disco's loud music or kiss me quick hats, a more grown up place with a great bar scene Easy to use the buses and see some more of the island as well

Negative - 68 steps. Poor lighting in kitchen area. No freezer compartment in fridge. Unsafe electrical socket on terrace. No air conditioning or fan. Positive - views to Teide and sea. Big and well furnished terrace - sunny all day, but good shade in 'outside room'. Close to all amenities and buses. 200m walk to 'paseo maritimo' and sea. Ample street parking. Big supermarket short drive away. Fairly spacious and stylish studio. We would stay here again.
