Porto Alabe: house with extensive views of the sea and its sunsets

Emilio snd Giuseppa are some of the nicest, warmest people you will ever meet. The property is charming, spotless, and has everything you need. Porto Alabe is charming, and the beach is secluded snd close to the property. The water is crystal clear and perfect temperature. Other little towns nearby are also full of history and charm( try Santu Lissurgiu). Great romantic getaway!

We really enjoyed our wonderful holiday, the rooms were comfortable, and the house pretty. We felt wecome by the owner, who served coffee and cakes for us on our last day, and left fresh flower, chocolates and wine for us on our arrival. We would have liked a little more privacy as the family were sharing the same entry across our patio, and also we would have liked a little more shaded area on the patio, as there were no trees or awning in place. However, the location was marvellous, quiet with sea views and a short walk to the bars, restaurants and beaches.

This is a great place to stay in the area around Bosa. It is within walking distance of a large sandy beach. The appartement is tastefully designed . All furniture is in good condition. There is a huge terasse with seaview. Most important Peppa and emilio will give you a warm welcome. They gave a package of local cheese and traditionsl plates of Sardinia to us. This is an ideal place to get to know real Sardinia, close to the beach, seaview, super welcoming landlords. Anyway note that a car is recommended.

My wife and I booked Peppa and Emilio's house 8 months before our vacation and it was the best decision we made. Peppa was attentive and helpful throughout the booking process and the lead up to our holiday as we had not visited Sardinia previously. The property was as described and has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the area. It is easy to access from Alghero or Olbia airport and it is surrounded by beautiful beaches and towns to investigate. The house will easily sleep 4 adults and has all the facilities you require for self catering or if you wish there are lots of restaurants nearby. You will need a car if stay at Peppa's house because it is a short drive to Bosa town however we did not use the car every day due to investigating the area on foot. The area is also quiet and peaceful which makes for a thoroughly relaxing time. We stayed for 3 weeks and wished we could stay for much longer! Peppa and Emilio are exceptional hosts - they could not do enough to welcome us including inviting us (plus our son and his partner who came to visit for 4 days) to a fantastic traditional Sardinian evening meal - we will treasure this memory forever. The area is supported by tourism but it was not over crowded - you must be prepared to communicate in Italian as there are very few English speaking visitors or locals but this just adds to the delight of this truly wonderful unspoilt gem in Sardinia. The area is not expensive and there is a great supermarket (Superpan) near the old bridge which is very reasonably priced. The local restaurants and cafes were all welcoming. Bosa town is a delight to walk around - especially the hidden streets behind the main street that lead up to the castle. To conclude - you will not be disappointed if you stay with Peppa and Emilio - a truly genuine family. We will Return - Danny and Jane
