About this house rental
The house is located in the center of a charming Auvergne village with a remarkable historical heritage (its church, its fountain...). It also has all the essential shops and services (bakery, grocery store, pharmacy, doctor, etc.).
It is a family home full of character with a bourgeois charm that has been respectfully preserved. Newly renovated and spacious, spread over two levels, it features a fully equipped kitchen, a living/dining room, a bathroom, and a separate toilet on the first floor; upstairs, there are two comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet.
At the rear, the house opens onto a shaded patio and a garden filled with flowers and trees, complete with a playground for children.
A covered porch attached to the house provides sheltered parking for one car.
The village’s location offers numerous opportunities for activities in the surrounding area:
- fishing and water sports on the Dordogne River or nearby lakes (less than 20 minutes away);
- hiking in the heart of the Auvergne mountains and countryside;
- tours of local sites and attractions;
- winter skiing at resorts (less than an hour away).

From a friendly greeting by the owner to a very well-appointed house. The location is superb, with the Upper Dordogne, Ventadour, Neuvic, Bort Les Orgues and Chateau Du Val plus Sales and it's outlying villages. I loved the house with full facilities, 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one of which was very modern and well-equipped plus an excellent garden terrace. Highly recommended.
