About this villa rental
Villa Paparouna is hidden away off the Boikatika lane from Magazia to the Erimitis Cliffs and is within easy walking distance of both. It is set within extensive private grounds of which a considerable area has been beautifully landscaped to take advantage of the different levels the villa is situated in and the natural lines of rock that once formed the terraced gardens of the house. There are many colourful and interesting plants to be found.

The private grounds incorporate a 10 by 5 metre infinity pool surrounded by a stone terrace that offers breath taking views of the Cyprus forest overlooking the rugged West Coast down to the horseshoe bay of Ahai just above the famous blue caves. On clear days the southern islands of Lefkas and Cephalonia are visible.

The villa is built on two levels and has many areas to enjoy both sun and shade in privacy. The upstairs terrace leads out to a large partly–shaded terrace that has a flight of stone steps leading down to the pool. There is a large Pergola that has been built to provide both shade and tranquillity and offers a relaxing place to sit adjacent to both the pool and Barbeque area.

The villa’s location is excellent - off a quiet lane but very close to local amenities … bakery, mini supermarket and petrol station. Also close to some excellent traditional restaurants … and the very trendy but very expensive Eremitis Bar & Restaurant. Be warned!
The setting of the villa with its flora and fauna is truly wonderful. It is quiet, peaceful and secluded.
The pool is large and the outdoor furnishings are well appointed; however, a second parasol could be useful.
The interior of the villa is comfortable; the kitchen adequate.
Mimis the pool man was a fount of knowledg for anything and everything and always to hand. Always helpful.
The island is incredibly small so it’s very easy to explore the main towns and get about easily and quickly.
There are lots of very good restaurants to try. Chris will give you recommendations if you ask him.
We had a most enjoyable week.
