Typical Andalusian house with everything you want at your fingertips

We really enjoyed our stay at Federico's place. He was very welcoming and also accommodating. On my last day I had a quite a bad fall and Federico checked on me after my return home. We fell at home!Car parking is available nearby, though limited but there is plenty of car parking spaces near the main square, a short stroll away, if you don't fancy driving through the narrow streets of San Roque. The house has all the commodities required, and a welcome pack with a few essentials was kindly left by Federico (selections of teas, coffees and some washing powder.). There is a nice selection of board games and books both in Spanish and English. Good selection of TV channels too, though we used mainly the Spanish ones.The house is well located in San Roque, being within walking distance from a little shop where you can find most things; the post office and local bakery are also a few minutes away as well as a selection of bars and restaurants. It was lovely being able to witness the Easter processions that passed by the house.Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

This place was so unique, every room was such a treat! We were here with three couples and there was plenty of room for us. We loved watching the sunset from the rooftop terrace! We had a large vehicle and Federico was able to find us suitable parking.

The pictures on the listing don't do this justice. You can tell the hosts put a lot of time and effort turning this house into a home. They were very welcoming on arrival with great communication before check-in. It really felt like a home away from home and we were given plenty of recommendations on places to visit and eat. Parking can be a little tricky, but this is the same in any city or town when you're renting somewhere in a beautiful old neighbourhood. We managed to find spaces less than 3-4 minutes walk whenever we needed to. If you have a car you can easily do day trips to Ronda, Gibraltar, Cadiz and Jerez. There are plenty of options within a minute or two walk from the house to eat and drink and there's a big supermarket only 15 minutes walk away. We had an absolutely lovely time here.

Comfortable and quaint house in a fantastic location in a lovely town. Ana and Federico were welcoming and thoughtful. I would definitely return to San Roque next time I travel to that part of the world.
