About this villa rental
Prestigious 130sqm villa in the Marina of Sant 'Ambroggio, between Calvì and Ile Rousse. 3 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with two single beds. On request it is possible to have a 2-seater sofa bed. The beds are therefore 8/10.
There are 3 bathrooms, outdoor shower with hot water, private parking space for 3 cars. Swimming pool in common use with the two adjacent villas.
From the private garden, thanks to a small path, direct access to the sea with a rocky beach and a sandy beach which can be reached on foot in 5 minutes.
The villa is on two floors:
ground floor: kitchen equipped with a service refrigerator, new washing machine and dishwasher, dining room equipped with a large new refrigerator with freezer and ice dispenser, lounge, 1 double bedroom, toilet with shower and bidet, access to the external veranda .
First floor: 2 double bedrooms; 1 bedroom with 2 single beds; 1 toilet with sink; 1 toilet with bidet, sink and shower; large terrace.
Large garden, covered veranda with chairs and outdoor table, sun loungers, lawn, table tennis area, charcoal barbecue, two small swings for children up to 3 years. Air conditioning, heating, possibility of cleaning. Swimming pool 6mx12m shared with the two adjacent villas.
Pets allowed by agreement with the owner.
Location easily accessible from Calvi airport or from the ports of Calvi, Ile Rousse and Bastia.

The villa provides accommodation for up to 8 people unless you want to use the fold down in the main room. All rooms are smallish but with good storage and comfortable beds and aircon. There are enough bathrooms/ showers and loos. None en suite.
The outside space is a big covered terrace and a bbq and large swimming pool. This shared but has never caused a problem and when neighbours have been there they have been courteous and considerate. The check in arrangements ha gone wrong each time. So before you go make sure you have a direct line to the owner and to Moussa who will be the caretaker. We love it there with its stunning views and perfect location. 2 years ago wee rented it for a month so as to share it with family and friends- not at the same time.it was a huge success enjoyed by everyone so this year we took it again for two weeks. That probably says it all . I will go again if plans can work out.

The most important things are all good. The position of the house is fabulous and the views outstanding. The air-conditioning works very well and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the terrace outside creates a lovely space to eat within.
The house is comfortable and the equipment all works well. There is a slight lack of attention to detail so small things like the cork screws were part broken and the pillows were quite like rocks. The house is fairly clean and the garden could do with attention.
The swimming pool is a good size and all our guests enjoyed it as did the children.
Sant'Ambroggio is a great place to be. There is local swimming in the sea, without restaurants, umbrellas or beach beds, but with lovely sand and in some places beautiful coves. It is 10-15 minutes from Calvi with its pretty and gently shelving beaches - perfect for very small children. And it is 5 minutes from Agajola with its slightly less sheltered beach that has wonderful clear water and decent beach bar with good food.
It probably isn't exactly what would appeal to most teenagers but for and older population or those with very young children it is perfect.

We spent a week at the villa, and it was the best time I've had in Corsica! The villa is very well situated - just 5min walk to the marina and the public beach there, and if you prefer a swim among the rocks, you can simply walk 100m. down the path and have a private beach all to yourself.
The villa has all the commodities needed for a perfect stay and is exactly as on the photos. I consider its greatest asset is the absolutely marvelous sea view from the terrace, and from every room, so even when you're not at the beach, you feel the sea just next to you. Check-in and out was fast and easy, the host was truly helpful and responsible when part of our group needed her advice and support. I will definitely recommend this property for anyone who wants to feel 5* comfort of a real home by the sea. Thank you!

The house is in a great location with a beautiful view of the sea. It has however been neglected and was not clean to our standards. Well equipped kitchen but cupboards were upside down and dishes had to be clean before use.
Beds were comfortable however, only one sheet and one towel was supplied (with add cost) to make the bed.
We, however, had a great time. Sunsets are amazing and the surrounding were amazingly quiet.
