The house was beautiful with individual touches and wonderful views. Situated in a picturesque village with a little cafe, bakery and restaurant. A wonderful base for exploring Lake Garda. Host was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Fantastic!

We had a great stay. Nico was very helpfull.
Please mind that there is no AC and to bring a small car.
The streets leading to the house are quite narrow.
Now we know why the Italians designed the FIAT Panda!

Stayed at Nico’s house for 5 nights. Chose the house for its quirkiness and the view of lake Garda from one of the bedrooms/studio was wonderful. House well equipped and lovely shower.
Would say that property not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs. Access from public parking is also via about 30-40 steps and a short walk to the house. Would have liked it more if there had been a garden to sit in.
The roads up to Gaino from Toscalano are quite challenging with a few hairpin bends and narrow roads. Toscalano had some nice restaurants and walks down by the harbour.
Nico very helpful and met us in the village to guide us to the house.

Very nice retreat 10 minutes from the lake in a beautiful and very comfortable house. We loved to stay here. The owner Nico is very nice and helpful. Getting our morning cappuccino in the local cafe at the tiny village square was such a nice treat despite the grumpy cafe owner. 😀
