Charming, eclectic apartment with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Steps away from several nice restaurants, a boulangerie to get your fresh croissants and a baguette each day, a small convenience shop right next door. Very quiet and the most comfortable bed away from home I have ever slept in. A short walk to Place des Vosges and all that it has to offer plus the wonderful Marais neighborhood (don't miss rue des Rosiers). Our host, Barbara, was absolutely lovely and spent time covering everything we needed to know about the apartment. She was reachable by phone/text at all times but we never needed to contact her during our stay. We created on own Apero to enjoy on the darling terasse of the apartment. It was really nice to have quiet,outdoor space to enjoy after the hustle and bustle of the city. I would book here again in a heartbeat! Merci beaucoup Barbara!

Great stay! Barbara is an excellent host and the apartment was perfect for two couples, with plenty of room. When we had questions about how to use the washer and lower the heat in the bedrooms, she was quick to respond both times. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice, with good showers. As other reviewers have noted, there are lots of restaurants nearby and a grocery store literally steps away from the apartment. It's also close to two Metro stops. We would absolutely stay again!

This delightfully charming apartment is curated with lovely art and antiques that make it unique and a welcome home away from home. The location could not be better for visiting all the sites and museums. We walked many places and got our daily baguettes from the neighborhood market 2 doors away. The garden patio was full of large potted plants, many in bloom. Barbara was so welcoming, spending time to orient us and providing maps and information about the sites and transportation. We had planned such an intense itinerary early on we intentionally slowed it down to spend a little more time relaxing at the apartment. Our week went much too fast. We are eager to return!

Cannot say enough nice things about Barbara, our host. All the other reviews are accurate in their praise for her as a host. Responsive, kind and helpful. But the property is , at the end of the day, what we are paying for, and although Barbara is 5 star (or higher!) there are some things that need to be addressed regarding the property.
Our main issue was that the property is listed as airconditioned and it is not. There is one portable unit (rated for 600 sq ft in a 1200 sq ft apartment) that you cannot use unless you leave a door to outside cracked open which defeats the purpose. AC is located in the living room which means that the little bit of cooling does not even begin to reach the bedrooms. I always check listings for AC since we are generally traveling in the summer months, and arriving Paris in the middle of one of the worst heat waves I wasnt terribly worried until we saw that in reality, listing this unit as air conditioned was not accurate. There were some brutal nights sleep until the weather turned a bit cooler.
Other than that drawback, the furniture and carpeting are very tired and need to be replaced. Fixing these issues would definitely rocket this property to the 5 star level.
