About this villa rental
We’re glad you found us! Our vacation home, “Casa del Sol,” located just outside Nerja in the beautiful Punta Lara, offers you comfort, coziness, and relaxation.
Many extras ensure a worry-free vacation for you. Three covered terraces invite you to linger; from one, you can enjoy the view of the Almijara Mountains, and from the upper terrace, the view of the Mediterranean Sea.
The private pool has a retractable roof, ensuring you can swim even in cooler seasons while also providing peace of mind that children cannot fall into the water.
In the summer, you can spend hours in the pool protected from the sun without worrying about sun damage. A variety of water toys are available for free use. The house is equipped with new air conditioners in all bedrooms and the living room. It also features a smart TV in the living room, a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, bed linens, towels, a grill, microwave, Thermomix, small freezer compartment, hair dryer, and a crib. A selection of games is available for game nights.
The Wi-Fi guarantees you secure internet access. You can park your car right across from the house without any worries; since it’s a one-way street, parking spaces are always available at the end of the street.
The beach is a five-minute walk away—here at Playa de Palazo, you can enjoy the peace and quiet and walk directly from the beach or the Paseo into the beautiful town of Nerja (about a 30-minute walk) or grab a bite to eat or a cold drink at one of the traditional merenderos.
The bus stop is also just a 3-minute walk away. There’s a mini-market nearby, and several cozy restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance (about a 5-minute walk). Punta Lara is a quiet, upscale residential community where Europe comes together. We look forward to your visit.

We stayed at the villa for two weeks, arriving on 20 May 2026, and were warmly welcomed with a fridge full of cold beverages. We absolutely loved the spaciousness of the villa, especially the outdoor balcony where we spent most of our time eating, relaxing, and playing games while enjoying the stunning views of the sea and mountains.The villa had everything we needed and truly felt like a home away from home. One of our highlights was the short 5-minute walk to the beach. We also enjoyed walking along the beach to Nerja town, which took around 20–30 minutes.The villa is located in a very quiet part of Nerja, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. We visited Nerja regularly, travelling by foot, taxi, and bus—the bus being very convenient at just 1 each way.We made the most of the pool every day, especially after our walks in the afternoon heat. Our daughter absolutely loved the pool and would have happily spent all day there.Our host, Claudia, was excellent—very responsive and helpful with all communication. We particularly enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the balcony, listening to the birds while taking in the beautiful views.We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return to this villa in the future.

Claudia is a great host. Very quick to respond to any issues, which were minimal. Helped immediately with a power cut, which is a ‘Spain problem’ not a host problem. Property is fabulous, lots of nice touches. Basics all provided for, even 4 beers in the fridge. Pool area fantastic, AC ice cold and very user friendly. 5 minute bus ride to central Nerja or 7 taxi ride. Avalon restaurant is right next to the property and we had a memorable meal there with incredible views at very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

This is our second stay at this beautiful villa we really can’t fault it again. Beautiful location. The pool is fantastic and the extra shade is a godsend. We love the fact that we can get a bus to Nerja for 1 and haven’t needed a car at all. We will we back xxxx

Lovely villa which was really well equipped. Short walk to the bus stop into Nerja town or a 30 mins walk and then 7 back in a taxi with your shopping so if you're like us and dont fancy hiring a car, you can manage without!Nice to find essentials like washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs etc so you don't have to a big first shop.Only downside for us is we would have preferred no canopy over the pool but understand that those with young children would appreciate it. Would definitely recomend.
