About this house rental
The Tiny Rock House is a magical getaway surrounded by big rocks and a scenic view. This unique space makes a great landing spot with easy access to Franklin or Nashville.
It features 240 square feet of indoor space with two lofts -- one queen and the other a twin. There is also a twin day bed with a pull-out trundle on the main floor.
We are 15 minutes to downtown Franklin, 5 minutes to Arrington Vineyards, and 30 minutes to Nashville.
The Tiny Rock House sits on the back 2 acres of our property surrounded by an 8 ft tall fence, very secluded. The house gets its name from the huge boulders that surround the house on both sides. It’s a picturesque and natural setting, plenty of privacy, and still conveniently located to Franklin and Nashville.
Please note: The lofts have low ceilings. They are great for children but can feel a bit tight for adults. We recommend using the day bed on the main floor for adults who need more space. Please be extra careful climbing up and down the lofts!
Appliances include a mini-fridge, stove, toaster oven, grill, fire pit, dishes, pots and pans, Keurig coffee maker, and a smart TV with WiFi.
You might get a visit from our friendly cat, Pootie, who loves to greet our guests. There is also a good chance you will see deer and wild turkey while you are here.
The house is located in the very back of the property and cannot be seen from the street. Please drive down our long driveway, past the white house, through the open gate. There is plenty of parking and turn-around space even for the largest vehicles and/or trailers.
We live in the main brick house on the property and also have another short-term rental listing on the property. Please reach out to us if you need more space.

This is a cozy little dwelling, nestled in a quiet area. All amenities are there, including coffee (very important). There is AC, which was necessary during our stay. I am 54 and was able to climb the ladder to the loft (my 2 adult daughters wanted the couch bed), but keep in mind climbing down. And if you're lucky, you'll get a visit from the resident kitty, Putty. Arrington Vineyards is less than 10 mins away and we went for a tasting. The grounds are breathtaking (picnic tables, live music, etc.). Downtown Franklin was about 15 mins away. I would stay here again.

We stayed over for 1 night while we toured historic Franklin. It was our perfect sleepover location. Outside the home is peaceful and beautiful. Inside the home was sweet hospitality. We are already planning a fall trip back to finish some tours that were rained out and want to stay here again.
