Plentiful windows make this bright, inviting, well appointed, remodeled home a gem. 180 degree views of California's magnificent coast and of the Bodega Bay.

We have everything you could want to make your stay a delight, just bring your clothes and food...everything else is already here.

This home sits on a hill above the fishing village of Bodega Bay only minutes away from renown Napa, Russian River, Sebastopol, Calistoga and Sonoma wineries. Property backs up to a green belt, insuring quiet and a lovely view of the ocean and bay.

Sleeps 4. Master bedroom has a king bed and the guest bedroom has a king bed and two twins.

Baths are both tiled and the master has a heated tile floor and heated bidet. Both have showers and the tubs are large and great for soaking.

Full sized washer and dryer. Home is well stocked with bed linens and towels, a well appointed kitchen with coffee pot, espresso machine, French press, microwave, pots pans, cooking utensils, wok, electric skillet.

The home has a deck around 75% of the house allowing for plenty of outside time and great views, a picnic table, cafe table and additional outdoor table that seats 4 .The house backs up to a greenbelt.

King beds are adjustable Sleep Number beds.

Interesting Facts
The design and orientation of the home's structure has been built to look like a bow of a boat headed to sea. The interior is a masterpiece of old growth timber beams and ship joinery.

Stayed here for the Labor Day weekend. I was really impressed of how the kitchen was stocked up from Organic olive oil to spices from Spain. You practically have everything you need. House was very clean and love the area overall. Enjoyed watching sunsets with my family, too.

My major concern was that the kitchen smelled very strongly of bug spray. It was extreme. I needed to wash everything and be very careful. It made me cough excessively. There are much better ways to handle insects. We use a service that never sprays toxic material in the kitchen area, or anywhere.

Comfortable home with a good view of the ocean. Home is well stocked but kitchen could use some serving bowls for dinner. Weber charcoal bbq is very small. Since there is no walk in shower and you have to climb into a tub, it would be good to have some grab bars for older renters.

We really enjoyed this gem of a home! We’re four *young*, active seniors who love traveling together, and this home had everything we needed—space, comfort, and great amenities. The huge master suite had a king bed, heated floor, and bidet (bonus points!), while the second bedroom had another king bed plus two twins. All the beds were super comfy.We loved the open living area with its cozy reclining couches and chairs, perfect for relaxing in front of the big entertainment system. The dining nook was ideal for our card and board games, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only tiny miss was the absence of a recycling bin in the kitchen; we later discovered the outdoor bins and would have kept recyclables separate had we known.We’d absolutely stay here again it truly felt like home!

All was great… cleanliness, location, well stocked and comfortable. The wind was relentless during our stay so couldn’t enjoy the outdoors. My only complaint were the instructions on the tv and reception; bed in master bedroom wasn’t very comfortable. However, I would stay here again!

If you like quiet like me, then you will like this place. It’s out-of-the-way in a cul-de-sac next to a few other houses, but very quiet. They accommodated an early check in even though I got there later than I thought. I should have asked for a later check out just because of my horrible sleep patterns.The TV was easier to use than I expected. I saw a bunch of remote controls and thought it was gonna be a pain in the butt, but it wasn’t. I logged onto my Amazon account to watch a movie which was pretty easy. It looks like they have a few different options for coffee like an espresso maker, etc. I didn’t use any of that stuff. I usually bring all my own stuff and don’t really use much of The amenities offered When I get a Vrbo. Even though I pay for the place, I always feel weird about using someone else’s things So I always use the bare minimum of what’s offered. There were two things they could probably work on. My girlfriend said that it looks like someone sprayed for ants, but did not wipe the ants off the counter. I’m assuming that was probably the cleaners That cleaned before we got there. When we first walked in, I could smell mold near the laundry room, and it was pretty strong, but for whatever reason I didn’t smell it the next day.Overall, like I said, it’s a quiet, nice place to stay if you just want peace from the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle that we live in! Oh, the bed was super comfortable! I’m gonna go by sleep number now!

We loved our stay. The house was very clean. The incredible view was only surpassed by the calm and serenity of our location. My only suggestion to the owner Is to consider installing grab bars in the bathroom tube/showers. Being a little older and less agile than most, they would have helped us.

We absolutely loved our experience with this property! This was the most well stocked rental we've ever stayed in, we were really impressed with how the house had everything one could possibly need! The location is 10/10, and so are the views. The check in was very simple and the instructions on clean up were straightforward. The only feedback we have is the ants. There were a lot of them in the kitchen when we arrived, and we found ants in the bed, bathrooms, and on towels. It didn't bother us that much so we didn't mind.

We had a great, relaxing stay at Karin’s home in Bodega. Everything in the listing is exactly as described; the house is very well-appointed, the bedrooms, beds and linens are very comfortable, every kitchen and living room appliance is available at your fingertips. The weather was outstanding for March, making breakfast and coffee on the deck even more spectacular. The view was just what we expected: Pacific and Bay. Beds for 6 but living room seating and indoor dining was for 5. Kitchen was well out-fitted though we ate seafood at nearby restaurants. House temperature was easily controlled and it quickly acquired a comfortable setting. Both tub and shower combos, which included wands, had access issues for me (as a 70 yr old with mobility issues), so grab bars would have been very helpful and made me safer. They were tiled nicely and very clean. We did not use the TV set-up by personal choice but seems adequate. There were boxed games, spotting scope and reading material. Wi-Fi was easy to access and fast. We did have some problems with accessing the sleep number beds control. My daughter stumbled on the solution, but if it had been just my husband and I, I would have had to abandon adjustment. Don't know if they have updated/changed app but step by step house directions did not work. Linens and bedding were very nice.

My husband‘s Christmas Eve birthday is a challenge to make plans each year with family and friends, we decided this year to stay close to home and we chose Bodega Bay for our destination after looking at several vacation homes that were available. We picked this home for many reasons. We only needed two bedrooms and we had to have an ocean view, my husband is an ocean fisherman and loves to watch the ocean. Needless to say this weekend was a lot of huge waves and the was majestic as always.The house was exactly as described, our host was very kind and heated the house n preparing for our arrival. Our family had a wonderful time together, bonding playing games, relaxing, listening to our favorite music eating delicious food we cooked there in the house which had everything to do so. Overall, my husband enjoyed a wonderful birthday mini vacation. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful time away.
