Nice duplex apartment in a quieter area of Trastevere. Furnished with taste and attention to detail with 70s-inspired design. Suitable for families and couples of friends who want to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the heart of Rome, but in perfect night silence. Sales is located on the ground floor of a two-story building, in a quieter area of Trastevere, near the perimeter walls of the historic Regina Coeli prison. The apartment is a 70 sq.mt one bedroom apartment furnished with taste and attention to detail with a 70s inspired design. On the lower floor: • Independent kitchen totally equipped with hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, microwave and kettle. Upstairs: • Bright and welcoming Entrance with living area, sofa bed, TV, air conditioning and dining table for 4 people. • Large bedroom with large mirrored wardrobe with air conditioning. • Spacious and bright bathroom with shower.

Excellent host, but some problems with the apartment. The “concierge” app is faulty and all I needed was the code to key box, but getting that info without a wifi connection was frustrating and difficult. Aggravating when you’re in a taxi cab from the train station after dark. Once inside, the WiFi code in the welcome binder was incorrect and required some detective work to finally access. A sink pump was broken and created a persistent noise that sounded like construction drilling and could only be stopped by shutting off power to the kitchen. No basic things, like a bottle of water, tissues or paper towels. Toilet seat would fall while using the toilet. Bedroom door squeaks loudly. Wall clock had dying batteries and did not keep time. Small annoyances, but the overall apartment was lovely. Quiet and an easy walking distance to the fantastic Trastevere area. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

The apartment was as shown in the photos. The kitchen had most amenities except a toaster. Air conditioning was very important as it was 30 C every day and the Euro Cup was on so the bar nearby was boisterous until Italy lost the match, so it would have been too noisy to have had windows open! Otherwise it was very quiet. The location was close to the river and generally 20-30 minutes walk from major sites so we didn’t need transit or taxi. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood about 5 minutes walk or 15 minutes on the other side of the river.

We had a great visit to Rome. Love staying in the Trastevere neighborhood. Wonderful for restaurants, walking, exploring, the Tiber River, shopping, and a quick walk to the main sites of Rome. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need. Communication was great with the hosts. The only thing that would have been helpful was more help with transportation. When I asked for help with getting to and from the apartment. Whether it be to the train station, or somewhere else, I was given little help. Rome is extremely busy and notorious for taxis not showing up, a little help would have been appreciated with setting these couple of trips up for us.
