This exceptional location boasts a view and a castle on an 11-ha site with a pool and tennis court, as well as fishing, internet access, and Wi-Fi. This calm location is nonetheless close to cultural sites and vineyards. With its small fishing pond, it is ideal for a family that wishes to mix castle life with day trips. We are a family of five, with two teens and an 8 Yr old, and we had a fantastic stay at Le Pignon Blanc with Béatrice.
There are 4 good sized double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen and comfortable living area, and best of all a private garden with swing sets, trampoline and outdoor seating. The swimming pool was our favourite, it is the Chateau pool but it was almost like having our own private pool! The Cheateau grounds also contain tennis courts, a football area, walking with a lovely lake and table tennis and table football also available for rainy days. Beatrice made us feel so welcome, she is a kind, friendly and helpful lady who is absolutely charming.
We loved that it is only 7 minutes from Autun and all the culture, restaurants, shops and history, it is an amazing town and only 90 minutes from Dijon as well.
We have had an amazing stay and would recommend it to anyone!

We had sunny weather every day and were very grateful for the pool! The property is well equipped and spacious, surrounded by rolling countryside. It is very well situated a few km away from the charming and historically significant Autun. Places such as Beaune and Dijon are within easy reach. Evening games of tennis and al fresco dinners in the garden were other highlights of our stay. Beatrice was very welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay in August 2014. The rental is very homey and cozy, but with plenty of room inside and fantastic grounds outside. It has fantastic views of the countryside. It was a good base for exploring Burgundy including the wine route. It is just outside of Autun, which was fascinating and an hour from Beaune, a charming town. Our only regret was we didn't get to use the swimming pool - the weather did not cooperate. The property owner was a pleasure to deal with.
