A quick three block walk to the Lake for beachfront summer activities of swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and paddleboarding or even a quick round of golf at the Historic Old Brockway Golf Course followed by lunch or happy hour at Spindleshanks Restaurant. In the winter months, enjoy skiing at Incline Village or Northstar Ski Resorts (about 10 minutes away) with a crosscountry center, snow tubing park, ice skating, restaurants, bars, shops and rentals. For the hiking enthusiast, Picnic Rock at the Brockway Summit is a local, scenic gem.
During your stay, if you prefer dining out, the restaurants are plentiful and within walking distance. If you prefer to dine al fresco on the deck or appreciate a cozy family game night in front of the fire, Safeway is only three handy blocks away. We found the April’s place really cozy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We walked to the beach and to the nearby shops. Will be staying again for sure!
