We stayed at the Green heron for our yearly family vacation. The property manager was very informative. We were concerned about the late check-in, before we could even reach out we received an email with details of early arrival possibilities. When we arrived the property manager was onsite to inform of some issues with the previous renters to make us aware of and what was done.
We didn't have any major issues other than some of the cleanliness. We cleaned the floors of the top floor because they were dirty and had sand on them. There was alot of trash on the perimeters of the property and outside the pool area which was a turn off. We did reach out to the management company because there were 3 broken chairs at one of the dinning room table along with 2 loose slats on the outside deck. Management came out said there wasn't anything they could do about the chairs but note it. Maintenance was suppose to return to secure the slats but did not which was concerning.
The house itself was in a great location, distance to beach. Accommodating for multiple families and even had multiple high chair and booster seats for littles.
We would return and recommend the property just hope that the trash outside is cleaned up to look more care for and appealing.

Excellent maintenance! We had a smoke alarm chirping upon arrival. Maintenance had it fixed within an hour on a weekend! Office staff very friendly
Cons:
Not properly cleaned. Sheets and towels were well washed but other than that, rooms, carpets and counters were filled with sand and food scraps. We even found finger nail clippings in the living room on a side table. Bring "house shoes" because floors will leave the bottom of your feet dirty.

Pros: The house is VERY spacious. Enough room for 6 kids to spread out and be loud. Access to the beach was amazing. The path to the beach looks like it was just renovated. Lots of bedrooms, LOTS of bathrooms. The kitchen and living room area could easily accommodate everyone that went. The views from the balconies were absolutely beautiful.
Cons: When we arrived upon the first inspection of the house was that pool had some dead mice floating, inside, and around the pool. The house itself didn't seem to be properly cleaned. Out of all the remotes (maybe 10) in the house only one had batteries. And cables that didn't go anywhere. Some plates that we were going to rinse off for use appeared to still have pizza oil as if they had just been thrown back in after being used. Parking for cars is quiet unusual. The driveway long but can only accommodate 2 cars up front. The others will either have to park back to back or park in the grass which is a pretty long walk especially in the rain. The entrance tends to get really covered with water on a bad rain day, which we experienced. It can easily come up to the bottom of a small car( dodge dart and mazda 6). Also the layout of the house has the living room/kitchen area on the very top floor. Really uncomfortable having to carry groceries for 13 people up the amount of stairs this house has.
Over all the house could have absolutely gotten a solid 5, only if the cleanliness of it had appropriately been done. Aside from that the house is situated in a wonderful location and makes for a great running location.
