About this villa rental
Villa Poggio is a property surrounded by vast forests and organic certified olive groves and vineyards just a few Kilometers from the lovely city of Florence full of art and culture. The city center and all its cultural attractions, museums, shops, restaurants etc. can be reached in 20 minutes by car, without giving up relaxing moments outside the city chaos.
Villa Poggio is an ideal location for day trips to places like Fiesole (20 km), Siena (60 km), San Gimignano (40 Km), Pisa (70 Km), Lucca (80 Km) and Arezzo (70 Km) and many more. It is part of a 74-hectare estate that includes a farm which produces extra virgin olive oil and organic wines. Guests are welcome to wine tours and tastings.
Villa Poggio has access to a private swimming pool (6x12 meters), shared with two other smaller units.
The structure consists in a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining room that opens onto a garden with loggia where is pleasant to eat during the summer. The two drawing rooms with book shelves, fireplace and TV make the villa particularly well-suited for family or friends gatherings.
Bedrooms are distributed on two floors and each of them enjoys a stunning view of Florence or the surrounding Chianti hills.

- First floor: two drawing rooms, cloakroom, rest room
- Mezzanine floor: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
- Second floor: 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms
It is possible to rent two other independent units close by: Sughera (sleeps 11) and Sugherina (sleeps 2 to 4).
A car is highly recommended. There is an extra-urban bus stop 15 minutes walking from the Villa. Buses run to city center but only during the day.

From arrival to departure (Sept 10-20, 2025) our stay at Villa Poggio was WONDERFUL! It's a very large villa that easily accommodated our adult group of 12. There were such spectacular views from every room and all around the grounds. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable as were the bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area worked well for us with two refrigerators being perfect for a large group. We did prepare many of our own meals. Day trips to various towns were easy from the Villa--and Florence is so close! Cristiana (hostess) was readily available for any questions and was easy to communicate with. She is a wonderful hostess and a charming, lovely woman who has a long history with her family-owned Villa. I cannot thank her enough for our extremely memorable stay. All of us agreed it was a place we would definitely come back to! Grazie mille, Cristiana and family!!!

We stayed in Villa Poggio in last week of September 2024. We enjoyed it very much. For us it was perfectly situated, we could enjoy very good bicycle roads close to the villa. One rainy afternoon we drove to Florence which is only 30 minutes away with a car. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. All in all - good value for the price paid. We recommend it to anyone that wants a classic stay in classic Tuscany envTuscany environgens.

Our experience from start to finish was wonderful. Our group consisted of 16 people aged 6 months to 71 and the property can handle even larger parties easily. Christiana was very helpful and responsive to any questions that we had. I would not hesitate to rent this property once more if we visit the area again. I highly recommend it.
