Was good facility but many misunderstandings.

Very nice lodge tent with lots of facilities and comfy bed.

There are 2 broken showers: 1 with cold water, and 1 doesn’t work at all. The toilet paper is often finished. The instructions that we cannot leave the camp before 7am were not clearly stated, resulting in complaints from neighbours when we left at 6.30am, and it’s not entirely our faults.

Location, 5 minutes walk from the village/town

Plumbing was poor, nothing drained away. Shower was Luke warm, never got hot. Towels & sheets were very old and worn. The unit was not particularly clean and needed a lot of TLC.

The chalet that we had was double booked, but we got an apartment in the center of town instead for the same price. For us this was ok. So good service.

Exceptional

Excellent. I rented a tent lodge, it was the best place to come to after a long hike. A tent with double bed, a lamp, sockets, there was a possibility of locking the tent with a lock which was great, and i could park my car right near the tent. Showers were clean and comfortable, and overall good environment. They have a little restaurant where they make great pizza at :) reasonable price. Would 100% recommend

The only thing you should be aware of is that obviously the tent isn't heated, so at nights it can get very very cold, you should bring warm clothes to sleep.

Nice stay

Really nice small camp with all the facilities. We stayed just one night in small house and we had everything what we need. It is spacious and all clean and beautiful. Camp offers pizza and it was delicious. Highly recommend. Also we had nice breakfast for only 5 euros.

The location was great, near the main place, shops, restaurants and bis station. The lodge is simple but has everything you need and remain cool at night for a good sleep. All other installations were good as well.

Great location, great stay.

They sold pizza every night, which was delicious. They also had a Spanish night with paella (which was awesome) and live music. The location was great. The campsite was small, which I liked. We stayed in a chalet (tiny house) which was totally worth it.

There wasn't much not to like. I wish I could come up with something useful for you, but I can't.

Nice for summer and one one night stay during more cold months.

Location, nice campsite, peaceful.

Mobile house was not heated before our arrival (outside temperature was below 10 C and the same was inside) we turned heating on and it started to warm up slowely. Not really spacious for 5 people. No towels and proper linen - only one old blanket per person that was not really clean (a lot of hair on it).

Nice camping, very close to the town center

I booked a private tent, with a double bed. The tent welcomes a double bed, 2 cupboards and some power plugs. The bed is large, with a fair enough good mattress. For this tent, you have access to share common areas (bathroom, sinks, toilets). All were clean. The camping is located 100m from in the center of Castellane, with many places to eat/drink. The camping also offers some food and drinks at very reasonable prices. You can order your viennoiseries (same price as if you were going to town) the evening for the next morning. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or long stay.

Good value for money for a one night stop, tent was very clean and bed comfortable. Nice touch: electric plug + lamp in the tent. Staff was helpful when we noticed a problem with our bill.

A bit cold but to be expected in a tent. There were a lot of tents like ours, would have been nice to have a little kitchen, fridge, warm communal room, for people staying in the rented tents.

It was my 1st time camping like this and it was amazing.

The owner is a real and down to earth person. It was nice talking to him as I had a little accident with my car and I felt the need to talk to someone in person and that really helped. An amazing place.

Die Lage was in der Nähe des Dorfes Castellane . Recht gut. Castellane hat sehr viel Flair und am Abend ist es sehr lebendig auf eine angenehme Art:-) Man bekommt mit dem Mobilehome wofür man in der Haupt/ende August zahlt. Sehr Basic mobile Home. Wenig Ausstattung, keine Klima, keine fliegennetze. Ein Sehr Basic Campingplatz:-) trotzdem erfüllt es die meisten Bedürfnisse!

Unsere Balkon Schiebetür war sehr sehr laut zum öffnen und zu machen

Camping calme, bien entretenu et très proche du centre ville

Camping à échelle humaine, ombragé et bien entretenu, soucieux de l’environnement. Les tente lodges sont bien conçues et agréables. Les sanitaires sont en très bon état (la propreté étant une affaire de tous j’ai été agréable surprise par l’implication de chacun à laisser propre derrière soit). Le propriétaire est agréable et disponible. L’espace jeu très appréciable pour les enfants. Les gros plus: - La proximité avec le centre ville (3 minutes à pieds) - Plusieurs départs de randonnées - La piscine container et ses nombreux transats

Dommage que le propriétaire privilégie les rentrées de argent au bien être de ses visiteurs

La proximité du centre ville tout en étant au calme si vous êtes à l opposé de la route comme c était notre cas

Le propriétaire a refusé de me rembourser la première nuit où je ne suis pas venu car il n a pas pu nous fournir 2 lits séparés correspondant à notre besoin. Les matelas sont creusés, mon fils avait mal au dos le matin en se levant, on a eu froid , une simple couette fine alors qu il faisait 14 degrés le matin au réveil, des personnes rigolaient et jouaient aux cartes jusqu’à minuit sans se soucis de leurs voisins … le camping ! Et on a eu droit à une émission en direct d un gars qui enregistrait en live une émission d entraînement physique pendant quasiment 1 h il parlait fort à un rythme éreinté… pas respectueux du calme attendu dans ce type d endroit en fin de journée !
