About this house rental
You know you will be in for a special vacation as soon as you pull up and see the property. You are immediately greeted by its cheerful paint colors, an adorable screened in porch, a private driveway with the grass growing in the middle and yes, a white picket fence. This house screams charming the minute you arrive!
Its charm is carried throughout the house with hardwood floors and real wood walls throughout! The bedrooms feature antique furnishings along with metal bed frames which give you a wonderful bed and breakfast feel. The kitchen has beautiful white cabinets and provides you everything you need for those nights when you want to cook at home. The large back deck has a patio set for the perfect place to relax while family members play games in the back yard.
This house is located at the heart of the downtown action yet secluded enough that you will not be bothered with the noise and traffic. You will enjoy easy access to the beach and boardwalk along with all the fun activities they offer. Many fantastic restaurants/bars are within walking distance or a short car/bus ride away. You will have convenient access to West Ocean City and Assateague Island from this strategic location too!

We enjoyed the cottage, it was clean and the location was good. My only regret is that the weather got bad and we were advised to leave so we left on Saturday morning rather than Monday as we booked it for however, they were correct to ask us the leave because of the flooding. I didn’t know if I could had requested a refund? We will most likely book it again but will try to be sure the weather is going yo be better.

This cottage was the perfect blend of comfort and nostalgia — just what we were hoping for. It had everything we needed for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. We especially loved spending our mornings and evenings on the front porch, taking in the peaceful view of the bay. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere.

This is I believe the sixth year I have stayed here. Place is convenient to downtown OC and has everything I need for my stay. Place is always clean upon arrival. Everyone at Benchmark is easy to deal with.
