About this cabin rental

This cute Cabin 10 has been re-modeled and modernized. It contains one queen bed with new mattress and has available one twin-size high profile, self-regulating air bed for a child or a third adult. It is the closest cabin to the shore of beautiful Lake Almanor. It is located in Almanor Lakeside Resort on the peninsula at the mouth of Big Cove. Bedding & towels are provided. The kitchen is well furnished with all the necessities. There is a flat screen Smart TV and DVD player for your down-time enjoyment. This cabin is a few feet from the boat launch ramp and boat slips. It has three new large vinyl windows with screens to catch those wonderful evening breezes off the lake. The jewel of this cabin is the large deck over-looking the lake which holds an outside dining table and chairs, propane gas grill and latching gate to contain pets and children. The views are stunning. The cabin has a propane heater and an electric heater for those cool mornings and evenings and a ceiling fan for the warmer afternoons. Cable TV and internet are provided by the resort. There is a large lawn area with picnic tables and doggie station for the use of all resort guests. Each cabin rental includes a free boat slip for the length of your stay. Docks are usually in the water by April 15th through October 31st.
We collect a 9% Transient Occupancy Tax plus a 2% Feather River Tourism Marketing District (FRTMD) Fee payable to Plumas County Tax Collector.

Simple living with a "front row covered porch seat" to view the lake. Spent the first hour of our mini vacation on the porch watching the rain fall and listening to thunder. What a treat!Minor maintenance issue taken care of immediately! Don't hesitate to rent this cute and cozy studio cabin.Excellent dining very near. All in all a delightful 3 days.

My husband and I (and 2 dogs) enjoyed our 2 night trip. The cabin is lakefront with beautiful views. Despite the cold weather, we were able to sit on the front deck and play games. Super quiet this time of year, but walkable access to coffee and market. We had the BEST dinner at IL Lago and even went back for lunch. Thank youFor a great stay!

My husband our pooch and I were looking for a quiet weekend and we got just that. It was so quiet. The cabin has great views and in the summer perfect spot to swim. We went to Susanville (casino) and that was fun. The indian falls trail is quick with a beautiful waterfall. Chester is pretty close for thrifting, we went to all 3 and found some cool stuff. Always nice to support a little community. Didnt try the restaurants as the kitchen has all you need. We left some k cups and cooking oil for the next guest. We cant wait to come back. Booking one of the bigger ones to bring our kids.

The view from cabin 10 is great! Everything was very clean. Very quiet at this location. Overall comfortable. The bed frame is very squeaky though. We look forward to coming back.

Studio cabin perfect for one or two with all the necessities for a getaway on the water. The cabin was clean, had a beautiful, large deck with ample seating and bbq. We stay here annually and will continue to for years to come since we love it here so much and the property management is so easy to work with.

Clint and Karen were very responsive to questions prior and during our stay. I only took off one star because it does not have AC and it did get hot even with windows and fans going at night. The fans did have dust on them too, which was a bummer. Having said that, we loved the location right on the water. We were able to launch our SUP and explore the marina. And it was a 45 min drive into Lassen Ntl. Park. I would come again.

Small studio cabin with room for small gathering. We stayed here for three night in June of 2024 and enjoyed all the property has to offer. Covered deck for enjoying the views of Big Cove. The closest cabin to the water. Dock access for boats and swimming. Free boat launch. We cooked meals and ate at local restaurants. The kitchen is small but got the job done.

Beautiful lakeside cabin. Had the best time very convenient with our boat in a slip and kayaks close by our cabin. Will definately go again next year. We would like to make it an annual trip. Only complaint is the cabin was dirty. Floors had not been vacuumed or mopped, oven dirty etc. Years of dust on room decorations needs a good deep cleaning

My husband and I do a annual fishing trip for his birthday. We have stayed at many cabins across N. Cal Nevada and Oregon. I have to say this is the best facility we have visited thus far. The cabin has all of the amenities needed to a comfortable and relaxing stay. The owners are delightful and responsive. We will be back to visit soon. I also got beautiful pics of the sunrise and sunset.

This cabin is super cute and rustic. The view is unbeatable. The bathroom and kitchen are tiny (which is typical for a cabin situation) - the indoor/outdoor common places make up for the small areas. The cutlery could be updated and added to- missing scissors for one. I'm glad I brought my own shampoo (toiletries) - I didn't see any for us to use had I not brought our own. Overall, we will definitely hope to rent this cute little gem during the summer months!!!!

This is a lovely little cabin on the shore of the lake. It was cozy and warm on these brisk autumn days and nights. It made a wonderful home base for hiking excursions and a peaceful place to rejuvenate. I needed a little get away and this was the perfect place to stay. The hosts were communicative beforehand and helpful during the stay.
