Casa Bocanegra is located in the area of pine forests of Burgos and Soria, in Canicosa de la Sierra. This area is known for its special landscape charm. It has many places that, isolated or together, show an incomparable natural beauty.
The house is located in the upper part of the town center, which is a quiet place at the same time. We can see practically all the town, La Campiña and Los Picos de Urbión from it.
The construction of the house dates back to 1976, being renovated at the end of 2010. Enjoy all the comforts of a modern and modern house, without losing the charm and spaciousness of a typical house in Castilla.

As we were just a couple staying we only had the smaller part of the home, but it was clean and well presented with nice touches like fresh flowers and a plate of the most amazing tasting tomatoes we have ever had the pleasure of eating, plus another large bag full of these gorgeous rustic home grown delights handed to us by the owner on arrival, who introduced us to his lovely parents as well. The surrounding area is quite stunning, particularly if you arrive from the North via the mountain roads through the national park. At the nearby bar the locals were very friendly, though only a couple spoke English, and they were keen to tell us about the local attractions including a lake, which unfortunately we did not have time to visit, and the very curious pine tree growing out of the middle of an oak tree!
