About this cottage rental
Casa Fresneda is a cozy rural home located in a small valley surrounded by mountains and forests. It is the perfect place for travelers seeking peace, nature and the authentic charm of a traditional village in the Sierra de la Demanda. Here, silence, landscape and slow living create an ideal environment to disconnect.
The house is distributed over three floors. On the ground floor you will find the kitchen–dining area, equipped with a ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV and a half bathroom (toilet and sink). The second floor features a comfortable double bedroom with a private full bathroom, warm and bright. The third floor is a beautiful attic with two single beds, perfect for resting in complete tranquility. The entire house has central heating, and the dining room includes a wood‑burning stove for a cozy atmosphere during the colder months.
Outside, you can enjoy the private garden, surrounded by trees and with mountain views. It is an ideal space for outdoor breakfasts, reading, relaxing or preparing a meal on the stone barbecue. The area offers numerous hiking and cycling routes, pine and beech forests, waterfalls along the Tirón River, and charming villages with local gastronomy.

Tanto el propietario como los habitantes del lugar ha sido excepcional. El alojamiento es recomendable al 100%.

La casa es estupenda, acogedora, limpia y nueva. El propietario, Jesús, un encanto. Nos enseñó un poco la zona cuando llegamos, nos preparo un ten ten pie de bien venida, un chorizo, una botella de vino, pan, jamón.
En la cocina no falta nada, tiene la despensa llena, azúcar, café, cola cao, infusiones.....
Hemos estado en febrero y no hemos pasado nada de frío, tiene chimenea (hay leña en la casa y todo lo necesario para prenderla) y calefacción en todas las habitaciones.
Los niños tienen un parque genial justo enfrente.
Cerca hay una senda hacia la montaña, por la que disfrutar de la naturaleza y de los bellos paisajes, tanto andando como en bicicleta. La casa cuenta con bicis para los inquilinos.
Está a 30min de Ezcaray con todo tipo de servicios.
La experiencia ha sido buenísima y muy recomendable, os animo a que lo descubráis.

La casa está fantástica, muy bien equipada, muy acogedora, bonita, muy bien mantenida. Todo perfecto. El trato del dueño, Jesús María, es inmejorable: super cordial y amable, a la vez que reservado. Perfecto. Nos tenía preparada hasta una cena básica de bienvenida, a base de productos de la tierra (jamón, queso, vino, incluso champán navideño). Todo riquísimo ! . Impresionante.
Es la mejor casa rural que hemos experimentado nunca. No creo que esto sea repetible, salvo en esta misma casa.
Fabuloso.
Y el entorno natural es maravilloso: pinares, hayedos, y el río Tirón con sus cascadas. Nadie en el campo, y poca gente, aunque muy acogedora, en el pueblo (nos invitaron a una tacita de caldo y una copita después de la san silvestre fresnedana!).
Una maravilla.
