Welcome to the house, in which I have lived all my life. The family villa, located in a quiet area of our city, will provide relaxation after an eventful day on the town. Built in 1941 it has been well-kept ever since, and the flat, to which you are invited, has just been renovated in full. Vila Marija was named in memory of my mother.
The flat was renovated in order to accommodate tourists. The layout of its spacious and well-lit rooms provides privacy to couples as well as a harmonious vacation to families in family quarters. The two additional beds are also comfortable and offer a good rest. Our youngest guests will enjoy sleeping in the baby cot.
The joint kitchen and living room are richly furnished providing a pleasant vacation atmosphere, while offering people whose purpose of travel is business all that is required to prepare for challenges of work. Experts in cuisine will find everything necessary to cook delicious meals for guests to enjoy at the king-size dining table. A large TV screen offers over 200 channels, so that anybody can find a programme to their taste.
There are two complete bathrooms with toilets providing ample comfort even to a larger party.
“The most beautiful city in the world” is a slogan, which has been around in Ljubljana for a number of years now. The city has seen a tourist boom recently. The location of Vila Marija is an excellent starting point for sightseeing tours. You can reach the very centre using public transport by taking a bus at the stop only 100 meters away from the house, or you can have a pleasant 20-minute stroll to the centre, if you prefer to walk. Therefore, your car can wait safely in our parking space, while you discover the secrets of the city. If our guests include children, there is a large playground in the nearby park with lots of shadow.

Our host Aleș couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The apartment was lovely and had everything we could have possibly used. Any request or question was answered instantly. He even let us stay late on checkout day, and came out to say goodbye! We feel like we were very welcome. Highly recommend this place!!

An excellent apartment with plenty of space, comfortable beds and sofas, and all you need for a stay in this lovely city. Our host was superb - generous with both provisions and his time - and our holiday experience was enhanced by our stay here. Public transport is good and the city centre a short bus ride away. Highly recommended.

Stayed at the apartment a couple of nights while in Ljubljana and it was perfect. It is located in a quiet neighborhood about 15 minutes by car to the center of town. The apartment was very well equipped, it had everything you would need. And Ales, the host, was very accommodating and helpful. Overall it was really a fantastic experience, making us wish we were staying longer, but we will surely come back to this apartment when we are back in Ljubljana.

We spent 4 nights in Ljubljana and loved it. The accommodations were exceptional, we had everything we could hope for and Ales was most helpful., if we needed any assistance. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped,. We parked our car at the apartment and got around walking or by taxi, it was perfect.
The location was excellent , it was a quiet neighborhood and close to a park, grocery store and a few restaurants.
We loved Slovenia and would definitely stay again at Vila Marija!
