A unit in a shared apartment building located just a 2-minute walk from Sanjūsangen-dō has been renovated and reopened as a guesthouse.
All rooms are available for exclusive rental, accommodating up to 4 guests.
All rooms are corner units, so you can enjoy your stay without worrying about other guests.
This guesthouse offers a charm distinct from that of a hotel.
It features a private kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, and TV.
We designed the space with the goal of creating a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind as if you were at home.
We hope you’ll choose our guesthouse for your sightseeing or business trips to Kyoto, or even if you’re a local looking for a change of pace.
It’s just a 12-minute walk to Kyoto Station, and along the way, you can cross the Shichijo Ohashi Bridge and enjoy views of the Kamo River.
We also recommend taking a short stroll down to the Kamo River to experience the changing seasons!

This area is packed with tourist attractions, including the Sanjusangendo Temple, the Kyoto National Museum, Chishaku-in Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

Apartment/Condo is in a quiet alley, tucked away from all the action, while remaining only a short walk from restaurants (sushi, ramen, steak, izakaya…). A nearby street is loaded to the brim with restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, bus stops and even a train station (although look up business hours ahead of time, as some places have unusual hours).
The condo building is quite quiet, so I’m not sure I would recommend the place for families with babies/young children. However, the location is perfect for almost everyone else. It’s important to note that it is on the second floor with a steep staircase (easy to climb, but not handicap accessible).
The host was very responsive, and they provided towels and basic toiletries. There is a W/D (laundry), bath/shower, toilet, and full kitchen in the unit.
The walk to Kyoto Station takes 10-15 minutes (but there’s a smaller station 3-5 minutes away).
