Another wonderful visit at The Carlton. It is the perfect place to stay right in the middle of Mount Dora activities, and in a beautiful, comfortable space. And on top of it all, it is very pet friendly, but spotless and without pet odors. We love to be able to take our pup with us when we travel. The hosts should do a Master Class on how to furnish, supply, and host a Vrbo. They are experts at this, and it shows in all of their properties. They set the bar high, and never disappoint. Thank you! See you again soon.

The Carlton was very nice, updated and cozy. It had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. Pets are allowed and there is a small yard in the back. It did take some time for management to respond via Vrbo and text, but I believe she was on vacation at the time. The second person she gave us the number to did not respond to a call or on Vrbo. The only issue we had was that there was someone staying in the room above us the 2nd night and we could hear them walking and moving things until 2am. That is not managements fault of course so hopefully if someone is staying above you, they go to bed at a decent time...lol. I would definitely recommend!

We have stayed in many rental units, but the property was by far the best. The host's attention to detail was incredible. The unit is tastefully decorated and updated to the highest standards. It would be difficult to find something better than this. Our compliments to the host. It is an easy walk to downtown Mount Dora and just a few steps from Tony's Chowder House and their award winning clam chowder. Great place, great town and a great stay.
