About this house rental
This magnificent farmhouse is set in a quiet and relaxing environment in the heart of a working farm. Ideal for vacations with family or friends, you’ll find this the perfect place to stay together while still enjoying some privacy. The 9x4m swimming pool—secure and heated from early May through late September (weather permitting)—along with its 2x3m deck and fully equipped pool house, will satisfy your desire to relax.
Upon arrival, you’ll feel the relaxed pace of life—reflecting our beautiful region and all its authenticity. It retains the warm, welcoming spirit of a family home. This large building, constructed in 1770, is divided into two adjoining units. The owner’s parents, who are very discreet, occupy one wing.
On the first floor, you’ll find a large, fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, a bedroom with its own shower room, and a separate toilet. On the first floor, there are two large bedrooms, a large shower room, and a separate toilet. Finally, on the second floor, there are two very large bedrooms and a bathroom.
Perched on a hill, it offers an exceptional view of the Tarn Valley—reminiscent of “Occitan Tuscany”—that you’ll never tire of. An artificial lake, a waterfall, and a private forest where you can wander will satisfy your desire to escape into nature and fully reconnect with the outdoors.

The villa is beautiful and has clearly been very lovingly restored by Marion and Jean-Phillippe. The beds were incredibly comfortable and both kitchens were well-stocked. They’ve given a lot of thought about everything you could possibly need and even gave us a bottle of rose on arrival. This was the first summer renting it out so there were a very few unfinished areas but I’m sure that will be this winter’s project!
With such beautiful views, we spent the vast majority of our stay by the pool and outside kitchen. The infinity pool was amazing and has a fantastic paddling area which was brilliant for our one-year-old. There is a beautiful breeze pool-side too which is a massive relief after visiting the town markets in the valley. The only downside was that there are no steps into the pool (tricky for those feeling slightly less athletic after a big lunch!) and no shade for the sun-loungers although the outside kitchen has a wonderful shaded area to eat under. Despite the house being semi-detached, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. We barely saw or heard the neighbours. We visited at the end of sunflower season but when the sunflowers are all out it must be even more beautiful as you are completely surrounded! Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it.
